They are very reliable, reasonable and honest.

Everything went great. I have used Murphy's for all my vehicles and they have been very good to deal with. They only do repairs that actually need to be done.
In one instance they fixed only one tie rod and stated that when I heard the same clinking noise on the other side to bring the car back and they would do the other one as they knew I was on a tight budget.
Larry was honest with me when my used car needed more work than what the vehicle would be worth and advised me of what cars I should be looking at as the most reliable when I went to purchase a new/used car.
If they cannot do the work that needs to be done they recommend the best in town to do the specialty stuff. Would not use another mechanic.

Because I will be traveling a long distance shortly and my car is now over 100,000 miles I wanted everything checked over and changed if needed. Over 15 years ago I was referred to Murphy's Service by a co-worker and I have been going there ever since. As a female I am always leary of being taken advantage by mechanics, etc., but I can state with confidence that Larry and his employees are, in my opinion, the most honest people in the business. His prices are very reasonable and he won't try to talk you into having something done that isn't really needed. He has actually fixed things and didn't charge me for his time. If you want honest mechanics who you can depend on to take care of your car, then Murphy's Service is the place to go. I realize this may sound and quot;over the top,and quot; but I am just so appreciative that I can't say enough about Larry, Corey and the rest of his employees.

Performed work as specified with very good communication. Was able to tailor the repair to what was appropriate for a car of this age.
