The electrician was here to do an estimate with regard to fire damage, but this work needed to be done as well. He had the parts and asked if we wanted it fixed right away. I wish we had asked for a price before he started. Actually, the price was not  unreasonable, but the mileage charge was. We were also disappointed that it took so long (over two weeks) to get an estimate, and when we then asked to have it itemized, we never got a new estimate, even after several phone calls. Too bad, the work was well done.

The quote process went very well, as the contractor worked with to explore all options before deciding on which one to take.  The technician was excellent, was easy to talk with and answered all my questions, and took pride in his work.  The time to get it done was little slow, and call backs were a little slow, but I was not under any schedule, so I was okay with it.
