We offer professional concrete preparation, commercial grade products, and extended long-term warranties. Minnesota is one the harshest environments for concrete. Road salts, freezing/thawing, and moisture creating cracking, pop-outs, and expansion - these are the factors that ruin concrete offer time. Many Concrete Coating products have been introduced, however, few of them have the technology necessary to offset these elements. We founded GF One Coatings of Minnesota in 2003. For years, we used epoxy Poly- Highbird coating systems with marginal success - failed floors, delamination, pop-outs and failed repairs - all caused by Midwest winters. In 2006, we discovered a permanent solution; polyurea/polyaspartic coatings. The benefits were clear, longer warranties, shorter installation time, and best of all, it doesn't react to the elements; such as road salts, freezing/thawing, and moisture in the concrete. With all our experience and knowledge of Concrete and the applications of coatings, we are able to offer top quality floors backed by long-term warranties. "Please enter what you would like the response [Member Information Removed] look like:From our conversations, you described several small organic pieces of tree leaves in the vinyl chip bed. We clearly missed it before the clear top coat was applied. This cosmetic issue falls under our guarantee of workmanship, not as a warranty issue. This repair should only take a few minutes too correct. My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you can contact me directly [company info removed] I will make the correction. Rearguards Joe Sheehan"
"Thank you for your response regarding the challenges with you floor we take pride in every floor we install and I apologize for any miscommunication. Once I was able to evaluate the condition of your concrete the problem is clear. The white powder comes from salt or DOT road deicing chemicals accumulating on the floor during winter conditions. As the contaminants and water absorb into the concrete over years of accumulation and can penetrate deep into lower 2/3rds of the slaps thickness and may sit dormant for years undetected. This condition is considered elevated PH. Once we applied the coating system moister and high PH will equalize the full thickness of the concrete up to the bond point soften and weaken the coating and debond the film from the concrete. This anomaly is undetectable without extensive testing and is considered an unknown contaminant. Base on our warranty this unknown contaminant is a non-warranty issue as I explained in detail. After our discussion about the non-warranty, we moved forward and repaired the floor at no charge. We also discussed the possible coating removal and to neutralize the contaminant to lower the elevated PH and reseal the floor at a discounted cost. Joe Sheehan"
