Great. These blinds are ancient, but I needed them to work for another summer. Jeff gave me great advise and the blinds are now re-hung and operational enough so that I can use them until we get new windows. Thanks Jeff!

Great Experience! We had a remote controlled power blind that was not working. Replacement would be very expensive but Blind Installation and repair got it fixed quickly and a very reasonable price.

These people are a fabulous resource. We have taken blinds that have broken to them over a number of years. They do the research to see if something is under warranty. If not, you can easily get an estimate for the work. They are fast and smart and pro-active and easy to work with.

The installation went good and quite fast, but there was an issue with pricing. When I called to request the service, I specifically asked for all charges so I was prepared for the cost. However, when they came out to do the repair, they charged an additional $35 since I was on the 2nd floor of a three-floor condominium (Highrise/commercial charge) - I was prepared for the other charges. I was not specifically told about this and questioned why and they said they probably did not know it was a condo; however, the work order specifically stated "Unit 260". I voiced my disapproval of this charge, but I was basically ignored. No return call or discussion from management.

There was a component that needed to be replaced. They had the part. They went so far as to check on my warranty status, and found out that I did indeed have a remaining warranty for replacement of the part and the related labor. This was done without the need for me to find my original invoice. I only had to pay the trip charge plus pull down/put back up labor.

Working with them was great! They were flexible when making arrangements to visit the house, very thorough in checking the detail on the blind that we would need to order. Sadly, they are not allowed (per vendor) to repair one of the specific blind sets (Levolor), but the Hunter Douglas we replaced looks great, and they made sure our current blinds were also bracketed well! Would definitely recommend and would work with again!

They were fabulous. During the repair, they fixed both blinds in less than 30 minutes. The installation of the new ones was also very speedy. They were pleasant and efficient.

Hirschfields gave me their name and number and they recommended that I get a price from them. ?When I called and explained the problem they refused to give me a price because she was not sure what the boss?would charge. ?A few hours later the boss phoned and in a hurried manner said that they had a man in the area and that he would be here in an hour. ?When the repair was compete the repairman phoned the boss to explain the ten minute task and the boss said $147 (over $800/hour). ?I have contacted the manager at Hirschfields who gave me the referral and stated that they will not be considered when I buy blinds for the other half of my home.

Dropped off the first two pleated shades one day and they were restrung and ready the next day! Price was exactly as quoted - $18/cord. I had two large blinds - one was 4 cords and the other was 5. Knowing they were not backed up with work, I brought a third one in for repair (from the front of our house so I didn't want to be too long in a public fishbowl with no window covering). The pull had broken off of it and where my husband was able to tie the strings we were about 3" too short and needing a pull cord. They took a look at it on the spot and determined that the cords were still in good shape. One of the guys was able to untie the knot and do a little finagling to attach a new pull cord and get me 1 1/2" back which was close enough for me. We always leave the shades a bit above the window sill to allow some circulation and prevent moisture build up on the windows, so I took it home and gave it a try. Looks just fine and he didn't charge me for that additional work.
I have used this company before (old location) and will go there again with any blind need. They do super work, prices are right and they are prompt and pleasant to work with! Could not be happier.

John and his helper hung the five blinds in less than one hour! They came out the day after I contacted them. I would highly recommend this company to everyone. Very professional, efficient and reasonable cost. Delighted with their service!

Initial call was handled professionally where the woman got all the details of the repair. Called in the morning and Steve was out just a few hours later in the day. Repair made quickly and saved me from having to purchase a new shade. Would use again

They did an excellent job and on a timely basis. Staff is very professional and service oriented. Prices seemed reasonable: $80 to restring 9' wide blind and $36 to do 23" wide blind.
They also do repair for other blind retailers around town (e.g. Hirshfields), so why not bring it directly to them and avoid the extra mark up?

With a week's notice, I was able to schedule with Blind Installation and Repair for the day after the new windows were installed. I was given a two hour appointment window and Jim arrived right at the beginning of that time frame. In just over an hour, all 12 blinds were back up and my dog had gotten some very kind attention. Jim also measured three windows for a quote on some new blinds in that time. This saved me much time and aggravation and I would definitely call them again.

They were very easy to work with, and the service was done quickly, within 2 work days. I am very pleased with the work! The price has gone up quite a bit since they last restrung my shade about 5 years ago, but the repair was still about 1/4th-1/5th of the cost to replace the shade. I would recommend them!

They were quick on scheduling an install date. The installers arrived on time. The team of two installed all shades and blinds throughout our house in about 1 1/2 hr. They made sure we knew how to open/close the blinds correctly. I needed to have them out a second time because my motorized blinds for the family room were delayed in delivery. The team came back and readily installed them. The team was professional and courteous. I will definitely contact in the future, if I need any repair on my window treatments.

The work was done on time. I was unable to let down the large blind when I got it home so I returned right away. They fixed the problem. Something just wasn't set in the mechanism correctly I guess. They also realized I had been given the wrong wands for the new tilters that had been installed so they gave me the correct ones. It would have been nice if everything had been correct the first time to save me a trip back there but they did take care of the problems right away and were very nice about it.
