Great.  Reliable.

They come every week on Tuesdays and their team does a great job mowing and trimming.

Jeff never returned one call that I made to him. I asked that he be especially careful trimming around picket fence as the last person I hired did not and the bottoms of the slats began to be chipped away. The same thing happened with Jeff. I also asked him to plant ground cover in our from yard where sun prohibits growing anything and for a roughly 6ftx6ft area he charged $600.00
For spring and fall cleanup he often left us as the very last person in the neighborhood and then it would snow and a the cleanup couldn't be done until spring, which he also got to very late in in the season.
I wanted him to lay some river rock around my patio and the one time I ran into him while he was mowing he said he could easily do this. I never heard from him after and again, no response to my several calls and voice mails. 
I originally chose Jeff because I was looking for someone who didn't have a minimum charge. Our property WITH THE HOUSE is .25 acres. He did not quote an exact price but did "empathize " with the problem of minimums when my yard fell way below them. Hi first invoice was low., Then he raised his prices and he was no cheaper than the old company. Again, I tried to call to see what had changed, NO response.
Finally I called him this past summer when I notices several weeds in our grass. He had told me when we met that he feels people use herbicides too often when if the grass is cut properly weeds are rarely a problem. ok. That sounded good, I have dogs and don't want to put them at risk. He never got back to me and if he did something about the weeds I wouldn't know.

I dont recall the exact date, but it was a blizzard at the time, I must have called 6+ different companies and he was the only one who picked up the phone.  He was also able to get the job done within 48 hours which was much better than other people who got back to me.  Our house was a corner house with a lot of sidewalk, we were very pleased with the price and it was so nice that we didnt have to go to our house on the market in the middle of a blizzard to shovel.

Communication was horrible. Took repeated calls to get a call back. Stated they would look at the job and give us a quote. They never called back. Two more calls to get the quote. (these things should have tipped us off but we needed someone)
We told them to do the job. Arrived a couple of days after they stated they thought they would be there.
Moved several of our items (trailer, landscape timber, etc.) without asking or informing, so they could get a huge zero turn mower into about a 20x30 section of yard. Tore up all our grass in that area, damaged brick landscaping, ran over plants.
When they were done the leaves were gone, but so was part of our grass, and the landscape items weren't put back.
Overall a horrible experience and I can't recommend. We've used other service providers in the past without incident.

They did a fantastic job. Much better than we could have done ourselves and very reasonably priced.

Jeff at Turf Dawgs does excellent yard upkeep for a reasonable rate. He
charges me by the visit for routine maintenance and by the hour for
spring and fall cleanup so the amount spent will vary depending upon
your yard and number of trees. He sets a day for your normal service
and actually shows up, does a thorough job and leaves the area clean and
neat. The few times I've been unhappy with something, he addressed it
quickly and the required improvement was made. Any extra work, such as
trimming shrubbery, was scheduled efficiently and done well. If you
ask, Jeff will call when weather or an emergency requires he juggle the schedule and approximate when he'll be able to make it out.
Overall, I'm very happy to have found Turf Dawgs and plan to continue with them for the foreseeable future.

The snow was removed from both sidewalks and small driveway. They did an on-site visit before quoting a price and answered my questions. Good service at a fair price - I'm pleased.

I was in a really bad spot after the company I had contracted for snow removal didn't show up after our huge storm. I left Turf Dawgs a voicemail asking for help on Tuesday morning, and they called back about an hour later. He called while sitting in front of my house and offered to shovel right that minute. It was so great!
Also, the pricing was fair, $30 per time, so he didn't take advantage of the situation and over charge for emergency service. I plan to work with Turf Dawgs the rest of the season, and am so grateful they helped me out of a jam!

i was a first-time buyer of any of these services as my husband had been doing it himself for many years. Turf was busy but he came when he said he'd come and he bid pricing ahead of time and stuck to it. Work was clean and efficient. he took away all the refuse and even cans full of leaves I had raked up. I would definitely use them and recommend them.

The crew that came here was very polite and once started and did not leave until the job was completed. The work they have done is of the finest quality and I am thinking of asking them back this fall.

We have been happy every time they come out.

Jeff's team cut our grass and trimmed this past summer, he is prompt and responsive to any concerns. Jeff is honest and reliable. His prices are competitive and he does quality work. We had him remove a large patch of goutweed which had begun to get weedy- he eliminated the weeds, leveled the land, and laid down a great quality sod at a very reasonable price. We have a willow birch tree that tends to hold on to its leaves, so Jeff is holding off on the fall cleanup until they drop. We highly recommend Jeff @ Turf Dawgs. We have signed up for snow removal this winter and have no qualms that he will do a great job on that also.

They have been prompt and have done a good job on the mowing. They seem careful and try to make sure grass clippings are not blown into the shrub beds.

They repaired some minor damage that occurred without me asking. They have not yet performed the fall clean-up. I'll update/issue a new report following the clean-up

Snow removal was professional and timely. We plan to use them again.

Turf Dawgs helped us reclaim a large portion of our back yard that we'd given up on and given over to 3 foot tall weeds and random perennials run amok. They removed everything and trimmed many of the perimeter plantings and trees while they were here. They applied weed control and put down pine bark nuggets to finish it up. We now have a lot more usable space which the kids are enjoying immensely. In the front yard they also applied weed control to our previously neglected shrub beds, reshaped some of the mulched areas and applied fresh pine bark nuggets. While discussing the project, Jeff provided some great information about how we can easily maintain the weed-free spaces in the years to come. I used to shudder every time I looked into the back yard. It was the triple whammy of looking terrible, not being usable, and a very visual reminder of another To Do List item that wasn't getting done. Now we love our "new" low-maintenance back yard.

I contacted Jeff via email. He responded almost immediately. He came out the next day and emailed me an estimate at that time. The service was started the following week. Considering that the mowing/trimming is for approximately 5 acres, his prices are unbelievably reasonable. He and his crew do an excellent job. They show up like clockwork every week, and if there is going to be a delay, Jeff keeps you advised. I recommended him to a friend who now also uses his services. I couldn't be happier. This is one great company.

I made arrangements via email as I was out of town and wanted the yard to be cleaned up and ready to go when I arrived home. Jeff went by the house and emailed me an estimate, did the work on time and as agreed upon. Great experience, will use again.

It went well, aside from a "mystery" bone that turned up in the new topsoil they put down. I asked them to remove the bone before they put down the sod and they did. Now 8 months later the new sod looks great. You can't tell there was a giant crater where the diseased elm tree used to be.

Promised scedule was followed,work completed on time, new sod grew wonderfully.

I called Jeff for an estimate, he came that same afternoon. I was expecting to pay almost double what Jeff charged me for all the work I wanted done. They arrived exactly when they said they would, Jeff walked me through exactly what they would do and approx how long it would take them and he was on the money give or take 5 minutes. They took away all the scrub from the lawn adn shrubs, gave the lawn a first cut and raking. I was amazed at how professional and efficient they were. I was so impressed with Jeff and his company I have hired them to do my weekly mowing (Turf Dawgs was 5 bucks per week cheaper that they guy I used to have do it) and I have contracted with them to do my snow removal this winter.

They are very prompt, detail-oriented, and tidy. Their service was very inexpensive.
