SKM SIDING & CONSTRUCTION

He was referred by a relative who had worked with him, so we had a fair amount of trust in him from the start. We gave him $11,000 up front for the siding job. About a month later, we came home to find his work trailer and a building permit on our door. We thought he was going to begin the work the next day, and then the dumpster arrived. That same day, we looked outside and it was all gone. No truck, no trailer, and no dumpster. He did not come to our door and talk with us or anything, he just disappeared. We tried to call him and our relative did as well, when he was finally contacted, he said the job was too big and he was quitting. He brought some of our money back that same day, the rest of it was returned 2 days later. We did get the money back, but it was a very frustrating experience to wait a month and through a couple of delays, and then to have him skip out on the job altogether.

VERY PROFESSIONAL. WORKED EVEN DURING COLD DAYS AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH BOTH SIDING AND THE TYVEC. THEY WERE VERY PRECISE IN EVERYTHING THAT THEY DID WHICH GAVE US AN EXCELLENT RESULT. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL AFTER THEMSELVES AND KEPT US INFORMED AS TO WHEN THEY WOULD BE HERE (THIS WORK WAS DONE OVER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS SO THERE WERE SOME DAYS WHEN NO WORK WAS DONE. ALSO SOME OF THE DAYS WERE WELL BELOW 0 AND I WOULDN'T HAVE EXPECTED THEM TO TRY TO WORK IN THOSE CONDITIONS.). THEIR WORK WAS EXCELLENT OVERALL AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY JOB.

THIS WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE AND WHAT NEEDED REPAIR. THEY DID NOT SUGGEST EXTRA WORK. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY AND THEY GET THE JOBS DONE, CLEAN UP AND DO WHAT THEY SAY NEEDS TO BE DONE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE APPEARANCE OF ALL THE REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS.

IT ONLY TOOK HIM MAYBE TEN MINUTES. HE CALLED LATER THAT NIGHT TO EXPLAIN WHY THE PLANK CAME LOOSE.

MR. AHERNS IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE SEEING CORRECTIONS NEEDED IN MY HOME REPAIR. ARRIVED ON TIME, COMPLETED JOBS AS SCHEDULED AND CLEANED UP HIS WORK AREA. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND PLAN ON USING HIM IN THE FUTURE. THEIR FIRM DOES WINDOWS, RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION AND SIDING.
