I have had him out a few years ago to refinish my original floors from the 1950's. Ed was very professional, answered all my questions, explained what he was going to do and how long it would take, and he also explained how to care for the floor after it was finished. He made every effort to keep my house clean while he worked, using a dustless system and cleaning up after himself every day. He did an amazing job! My floor looks brand new, and the traffic top coat he recommended has protected it from damage from my dogs since. They have never been able to scratch through the finish to the raw wood. It is still protected. I even paid Ed to move some of my bigger pieces of furniture, and he made sure I had protective pads on the bottoms of everything to prevent scratches. Now, the floor still looks amazing, and I want to keep it that way. I am having him come back to do a buff and coat to freshen it up a bit and prolong it's life, so I won't have to get it refinished again for years. I just talked to Ed again today to reconfirm we are on for next week, and he is the same as he was when I first hired him to do my floors, professional and answering all my questions.
