Rainbow international was wholly unprofessional. This company was recommended by our insurer after we filed a claim for water damage. The company was initially punctual in assessment and the provision of a quote. However, when they indicated we may also require restoration to our foundation, any hint of professionalism ceased. We were told they were too busy to arrange sub contracting and indicated that it was our responsibility to find and hire a sub contractor. Then they simply stopped communicating all together, leaving us to start over completely. Look elsewhere for your restoration needs.

Description of Work: I had a leak from my refrigerator water line that leaked into my floor and the basement ceiling. Rainbow was able to come out the next day and put fans and and water extraction equipment in the house. Aside from the the noise, it was a really great process. | |To their credit I didn't have to replace any flooring or ceiling material. There is no mold or mildew. I ended up having to do was repair the ceiling drywall and some paint in the basement. | |I'm happy with the overall process.

 + -1 moreBrian and his crew were very professional and explained what they were doing and why they did what they were doing and explained how fast things can go wrong with respect to water, mold and other issues water can cause. They used a shop vac to pull up as much water as possible and then left industrial sized fans and dehumidifiers in our home for several days and he would come out periodically to check the dryness of the sheetrock, ceiling, carpet, etc. I would recommend Brian and his crew to anyone. They all were very nice and prompt.
Description of Work: Actually, I have used Rainbow International 2 times, but can't remember the dates. The first incident, I ended up reported to my home insurance and the second we paid for ourselves. The first time, I had left the water running in the laundry room and it flooded the basement and spread through the main floor. I called on a weekend and he was actually at a graduation party, but was to my house within an hour after calling and he set up fans, dehumidifiers and checked where the water flowed to make sure he got everything dried up. He also washed my carpet in the bedroom, which had a common wall to the laundry room, to make sure that everything was clean. The second time was this spring and with all the rain, before the ground thawed, we ended up with water in our basement as the the draining system underground was still frozen and it backed up next to the house.

We are very thankful for Rainbows quick response to our problem, with in 1 1/2 hr. they were at our home with fans drying out the wet carpet preventing any further damage from happening! We are very thankful for the wonderful service we received for Rainbow!
