About 3 months before installation I went into the shop and show room to talk to Ann Harren the coordinator about replacing
a vanity and cabinet. Picked the colors and was sent to the Granite business with which WestWind cooperates, to pick out
the granite top.
Very professional show room and Ann helped me with design and style.
The Monday before Xmas was the installation date. I checked back on this date with them and was asked if it could be delayed to the Thursday before Xmas. No problem.
On the Thursday before Xmas they showed up in a timely manner with the cabinets. They sent a very nice young man who
takes the dimensions of the job but is not an installer. Job was ok but he said he did not have all the tools that a regular
installer would use. Did not calk around the cabinet and did a poor job of finishing off the inside where the pipes came up.
He got the vanity in but then found that Westwind had made the mirror/cabinet wrong. It was supposed to be recessed but
was an outside type. Also I got a call from the granite company that they were to come on Friday to MEASURE for the cabinet top!
They were not going to make it until AFTER Xmas!
This was three days before Xmas and no bathroom vanity top or mirror! Called Ann Harren and she said she would see what she could do.
Friday morning they sent the real installer Ken out to put a new rebuilt cabinet in and he also put in the vanity top that the granite company had cut. No messing around with measuring from the granite company at the last minute. They measured from the drawings.
Everything got in finally and they do a good job when they finally figure out that even small jobs need to be taken seriously.
I expect that this was all due to being swamped with work over the Xmas holidays. I understand this but don't have any sympathy for sending out the backup crew or not doing the logistics because a job is small.
This company does excellent work. I will use these people again but will keep on top of it and definitely will not schedule anything before a holiday.
