Small Engine Mobile Repair

Matt did everything we hoped, took the time to explain how to keep the machines working smoothly, and did it for significantly less than the price quote. Very pleased with his professionalism and his services.

Excellent work. Snowblower would not start, he promptly scheduled time to come out to our house and repair it. I didn't even have to be there, he did the work while I was at work, and now it runs great. Highly recommended!

It ran much better but it had a slight hicckup occasionally. We decided to order a new carburetor and it runs good now. Matt really knows his stuff and i would hire him again.

I spoke with Mr. Wasson by phone and he advised me that a plastic plug just maybe loose on the side of the engine.  He advised me on how to close the plug with vice grips.  It solved my oil leak.  Made me fell pretty dumb, being such a simple fix.  Thank you!

After I tried to replace the spark plug and could not screw it into the port, I called Matt to see what he thought the problem could be. The port is in an area that is difficult to access, and I ended up forcing the plug in with a wrench at the wrong angle, thus stripping the port threads. This problem could result in a major expense to achieve a permanent repair, but Matt managed to get the plug in and level with the margins. However, the next time I change it, he will have to either drill it out and use a heli-coil or replace a major part.
Last year Matt explained how important it was to drain out all the gas in the tank and carburetor at the end of winter. This year he said that if I continued to do this, and use non-0xygenated gas with Star Tron stabilizer along with a yearly oil change I might be able to wait 5 years before I need the spark plug changed (I have a relatively small driveway).
Once again Matt saved the day and found a way to make a major problem manageable.  This guy always responds quickly, takes care of the problem and/or gives you options along with valuable information to keep your small engines working.

Matt is very professional and knows the lawn mowers. He keeps going until the solution is found. Fixed our mower and we couldn't be happier! Outstanding experience and it was so fantastic that he came to the house to repair it. I've always had repairs done at Sears but since they no longer repair lawnmowers I was in a bind looking for someone to repair. I finally found Matt on Angie's List and due to my schedule we played phone tag but he was prompt in  calling me back and we finally connected and got a date set up. I wasn't going to be home while he was here so he worked with my wife and walked her through everything he was doing.
My wife was extremely impressed with his professionalism, eye for detail and honesty. We were amazed that he travels all over the Cities for jobs. We live in NW suburbs and when talking to him he was going to be in Cottage Grove one day, Lino Lakes another day and so on. Wow! Definitely committed to servicing all of the Cities. Highly recommend him!! We will most definitely have him back when the need arises.

I set an appointment for 4:30 p.m. and they were here by 4:25p.m. Very Friendly Courteous service. I know that they service all small engines and service the north metro area. I would not hesitate to use them again. Excellent and friendly service at a very reasonable price.

I was pleased to find a small engine repair business that would complete repairs at my home.  When I called, I spoke directly with Matt, and we made an appointment for that week.  He was prompt, courteous, and professional at our scheduled appointment, and explained everything he was doing.  He did not mind my watching everything he did and asking him a lot of questions.  He made sure that I understood why my snow thrower was having problems and how to avoid problems in the future.
He disassembled the machine, and tried to clean out the fuel system and carburetor.  After he reassembled the machine and it still ran rough, he suggested a new carburetor.  When he got the new part, he called me and we set up another appointment.  Again, Matt was prompt, courteous, and professional as he installed the new carburetor.  The machine now runs beautifully, and Matt advised me on the type of gas and stabilizer to use, and how to store the machine.  
Matt is personable and knowledgeable, and it is nice to have someone trustworthy and reliable to call for small engine repair without having to worry about how I am going to get the machine to and from the repair shop.
