We really like him. I thought it was reasonable. The only thing about him is that he'll say some time that he's coming but he doesn't. He's a nice guy. He's reputable and he does a good work.

Tom is amazing! He gives creative suggestions and is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of carpentry and painting. He currently removed an old railing and installed a new railing in living room and dining room. I had many nail holes, old patches, and uneven spots on the walls and Tom patched and skimmed the walls and then painted them. They look brand new!
Several years ago Tom had framed walls, installed a closet and designed a kitchen in my basement for a rental unit and it turned out magnificent!
I would highly recommend Tom!

I contacted this provider (O'Leary Painting and Wood Refinishing) several weeks ago. He was relatively prompt (over weekend) in responding to my call. We set up a date and time and he showed up promptly to review the work. I live in an old home where the wood work around the windows and baseboards have been painted over several times and was not easy to estimate the time and effort it would take to complete. However, the Provider and I agreed to select an area in the home (at a set price) where he could prove his work and skill then he could determine how much work would be involved in doing a larger area. The work (a tri-window) turned out wonderfully!
I am pleased with how the window turned out and I have asked for additional work to be quoted. The Provider is a craftsman and took time (3 Monday's) in doing the work, was respectful of my home, cleaned up after himself and made suggestions on how to cover a very bad blemish under the window. What a nice job! Hire O'Leary but not until next year...I'll be keeping him busy thru the rest of 2013.
He even helped me repair my doorbell on his way out.

We called Tom O'Leary to see if he was interested in refinishing our kitchen cabinets. He was at our house within a day or two to review the project and give us a fixed price. His price seemed reasonable and the time line for the project fit our needs. He took the 35 cabinet doors and 12 drawers to his shop for refinishing and then spent 11/2 days in our kitchen refinishing the cabinet frame and then reassembling everything. It now looks "as good as new". We are very satisfied with the work Tom did for us

Absolutely perfect. Well beyond my expectations for every project he has done for me. By the way, he really LISTENS to what it is his customer wants, and fulfills the request until the customer is satisfied.

We've worked with Tom from the very beginning of projects. We talk over the pros and cons and the best ways to do the jobs from practical, aesthetic, and financial angles. Tom is an expert, but he's a good listener and will consider different ways of approaching a problem, respecting our opinions. As the project goes along, Tom remains flexible and good-humored, able to deal well with unforeseen
occurrences and always working as a partner with us.
