Description of Work: They stripped and replace the roofing shingles, the gutters and some of the fascia, where a hail storm had done damage. They did the job within the budget approved by my insurance company (American Family). Very well done, looks great. Roofers were done in one day, and left the work site very clean and orderly. Fascia crew did a quick, timely job. Best part of job was the gutter installation. Heinrich did a great job. Only issue was that the roofers didn't keep the gutter braces and discarded part of one downspout, so Heinrich had to order them - adding a couple of days to the job. But, overall it was a great job. We have had a couple of downpours in the past two weeks - the roof and gutter system is working perfectly.

Description of Work: The job was attic insulation. The crew (2 people) showed up on time and did a great job. They left the work area clean and the insulation spread well throughout the attic. And, they did this in the afternoon of the hottest day so far in summer, 2015. It was low 90s outside, and like an oven in the attic. Great work under difficult conditions. It appeared to me that they took adequate precautions against dehydration and fatigue.

Description of Work: Midwest Exteriors repaired major damage to my roof and windows from a hail storm. The business side of the experience was very favorable (Eric). They were professional, courteous and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. The work performed was above average and overall I quite satisfied.

Description of Work: We hired midwest to replace our siding, soffit and facia, paint some of the windows. We used James Hardie siding. The project is still active - have to come back and do the painting (if it ever stops raining). I rated them lower on quality, responsiveness because of a few issues. One is the communication of information (project details) from the sales person to the guys actually doing the work. the project manager was mostly clueless and didn't seem to know anything about the job. the forman, who we met with to go over a lot of the details, was very knowledgeable with lots of good ideas on how to tackle certain things. However, he was only on the job a couple of times, even though the contract said he would always be on site. Luckily we arranged to be at home during the first week so we communicated directly with the crew. The crew were very skilled, cared about their work, very polite. So, if you are able to be there and answer questions, this is a good choice because they are less expensive than others.

Overall experience was quite good. Justin was a pleasure to work with and it sure helped that his bid was about 40% lower than a competitor for a very similar product. I thought there was supposed to have been a ''1 year checkup'' but I'm not sure that happened. If it did, I'm not aware of it.
Description of Work: Justin Jacobs (operations manager), Pedro and the Midwest crew re-sided our house in vinyl siding, replaced soffits, and wrapped window trim and fascia in pvc coated aluminum. They were courteous and professional. Only a couple of small issues surfaced which Justin remedied promptly. We also had gutters installed which was done by a sub-contractor. The job site was left relatively clean but the return trip to finish the cleanup after the snow melted did not occur, to my knowledge.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH MIDWEST WASN'T GOOD WHEN THEY ROOFED MY HOUSE 4+ YEARS AGO, AND IT CONTINUES TO BE BAD. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE A 10 YEAR WARRANTY ON THEIR WORK, BUT WHEN IT COMES TIME TO PERFORM THE WARRANTY WORK, THEY FAIL TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE REPAIRS NEEDED TO CORRECT THEIR POOR WORKMANSHIP. INSTEAD, THEY REPEATEDLY TELL ME THAT THE LEAKS, BUCKLED DECKBOARDS, ETC. ARE NOT THEIR FAULT AND THAT I MUST PAY FOR REPAIRS. WITH MY FLAT GARAGE ROOF, WHICH NEEDS A RUBBER MEMBRANE ROOFING MATERIAL VS. SHINGLES, THEY REINSTALLED IT IN 12/04 AND DID IT INCORRECTLY. SO NOW, RATHER THAN HAVING A TIGHT, FLAT RUBBER ROOF, IT IS BUBBLED AND LOOSE. I AM STILL HAVING DISCUSSIONS WITH MIDWEST REGARDING THEIR POOR WORK AND THE $1000 INVOICE I RECEIVED FOR THIS WORK (WHICH SHOULD BE A WARRANTY REPAIR AND NOT A CHARGE TO ME). MISTAKES CAN HAPPEN WITH WORK DONE BY ANY CONTRACTOR - THE TRUE TEST IS HOW THEY HANDLE MAKING THINGS RIGHT WITH THE CUSTOMER. MIDWEST FAILS!
Description of Work: WE CONTACTED MIDWEST ROOFING REGARDING LEAKING ISSUES WE HAD WITH A ROOF JOB THEY DID ON OUR HOME 4+ YEARS AGO. WE HAVE HAD REPEATED LEAKING WITH THE FLAT GARAGE ROOF THEY INSTALLED, HAVE HAD BUCKLED ROOF DECK BOARDS THAT CAUSE OUR HOUSE SHINGLES TO COME LOOSE, AND THEN LAST SPRING/SUMMER NOTICED LEAKING ON THE SHINGLED ROOF THEY INSTALLED ON OUR HOUSE. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE A 10 YEAR WARRANTY, SO WE CONTACTED THEM TO PERFORM NEEDED REPAIRS TO STOP THE LEAKING. THEY HAVE YET TO CORRECT THEIR POOR ROOF JOB AND WHEN THEY RE-INSTALLED A NEW FLAT ROOF ON OUR GARAGE 12/04 (TO CORRECT THE ONE THEY ORIGINALLY INSTALLED 4+ YEARS AGO), THEY INSTALLED THAT ONE INCORRECTLY TOO! WE NOW QUESTION THE INTEGRITY OF THIS "NEW" RUBBER MEMBRANE GARAGE ROOF ... AND THE INTEGRITY OF MIDWEST, AS THEY WANT US TO PAY FOR THIS SHODDY WORK!

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE PRODUCT, BUT WASN'T HAPPY WHEN A BIRD BECAME TRAPPED IN THE SOFFIT. CALLED THEM, AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE 150 DOLLARS TO GET THE BIRD OUT. WENT WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY FOR THAT. OTHER THAN THAT, THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO.
