Lenfer Automotive/Lino Lakes Transmission

Lenfer's is amazing. I had been told by both dealer and another independent repair shop that the only solution for my leaking differential on my 2011 Frontier Pickup was to replace the differential at a cost of over $3500. I stopped by Lenfer's because they had rebuilt my sons Mazda transmission almost 20 years earlier, and they said they could repair the differential....at around $500. The final bill was less than $500 and the differential looks great, drives great and no leaks at all. Lenfer's is a great option, especially for challenging or "out of the box" types of problems. However, I plan to return for all of my maintenance and repair on my Frontier. They take pride in their work and go above and beyond to find solutions most shops won't even think about.

Car is running fine now. I have decided to ignore the cause of the returning check engine light condition.

Inital rebuild completed within anticipated timeframe. Had symptoms of original failing transmission, brought back several more times for "adjustments". Did not fix shifting issue. shop decided to replace origianal transmission with a used rebuild. Most recently a leak was discovered and repaired under warranty. must bring back in two weeks to re-evaluate and inspect for leaks. All in all a frustrating experience taking an exorbinant amount of time and inconvenience. Did have to rent a car at one point increasing price of rebuild further. Of note is the friendliness and accomodating nature of Randy and Jim, the guys who work the desk.

The experience went very well. I was told that it would take an hour and a half, and it took only an hour to complete the work.
