We had an outstanding experience with Dale Schultz of Status Contracting Inc. Dale was our contractor for remodeling our main floor from a new kitchen and main bath to new flooring, paint and ceiling. Dale provided a detailed and transparent proposal, timely execution, and excellent craftsmanship, so there weren’t any surprises. Dale and his team met and exceeded our expectations. Excellent! What I appreciate most about Dale and SCI is the constant communication. I always knew what was being done and when. When I had questions there were answered within hours if not minutes of my text. Dale is very consultative as well. I asked for his opinion numerous times and because he has been doing this for years, he always gave me good advice. His staff is very friendly and they always cleaned up every day before they left. The quality of the work is top notch. This is the second time I've had SCI do a major project for my home and would use them again.

It has been a few months since Dale and his "Happy Man" contracting finished my kitchen...I call him Happy Man contracting because nothing was difficult or problematic. He was always there with a smile and a can do attitude. The people he brought in to do the work were the same...I could tell they liked working for Dale and they liked their work. My neighbors recommended him (thanks Neal and Kathy) and I soon found out why, Dale went out of his way to listen to me, come up with ideas and solutions and make sure I got the results I wanted. (Ask me about my main sewer line being plugged with tree roots and how he came over on a Saturday night because he wanted to make sure it was nothing due to the remodeling....it wasn't...and he helped me get it resolved...(thank you, Sheila.....for interrupting your Saturday night plans to help me out!) I would highly recommend Dale and Happy Man Contracting to anyone......THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU......am off to revel in my kitchen!!

I started with my own concept, drawings and color scheme. I had purchased many items prior to hiring Dale Schultz of Status Contracting. Dale Schultz, the contractor, welcomed my ideas and didn't give me any negative comments about installing a new shower on an outside wall because he knew exactly how to do it Dale had all the subcontractors come and look and provide bids before making out the contract. He was very professional about costs, fees for permits, payment timelines, etc. I saved a lot of money by doing a lot of demolition myself, with the exception of removing a cast iron tub, which he and a helper removed in one piece down two flights of stairs without any wall damage at all. I was impressed! I was also impressed by the high quality sub-contractors he hired. They were all very skillful and quite pleasant. Dale also help me save money on a granite vanity top after I shopped till I was about to drop. He managed to get me a very good deal so I could afford what I wanted. In the end, I got every-thing I wanted - the clean, modern, simple elegant quality look. And everyone is impressed.

From the moment I reached out to Dale he was in constant communication with me. I left him my first voice mail on a Monday and had a response by Wednesday. He was very flexible in meeting my schedule as far as coming out to my home to provide me an estimate. He kept me informed of where he was at in providing me the estimate. He told me the date and time he would start and was there exactly when he said he would be.
He was at my house 4 days and when I came home you couldn't even tell he had been there as they cleaned up every single day.
I would highly recommend Dale for any type of contracting work that you need. In this day and age it is difficult to find a service provider that is timely and actually keeps in constant communication. Plus, the work he did was wonderful

Dale did a great job! I expected professional work;the quality of the work was superb. Dale does the little things all too often overlooked. Phone calls are returned promptly;usually in minutes! He shows up when he says he will. He follows up on all details communicates frequently and ensures he and the homeowner are on the same page. I will definitely have him back for other projects. At first I was a bit leery of handing out a good size check to get things rolling. My fears soon dissipated. Dale is very professional; he lets you know what will be done when and he keeps to it. He responds within minutes if you call, text or email him. I work out of town each week so a lot of communication was with phone, email, text and sending of pictures back and forth.
All that means a lot, I do not to worry if and when things will get done. He may be a bit more expensive than other contractors...but you get what you pay for.
I had a few issues after install, cracked toilet bowl, lighting issues. He was responsive and fixed all immediately.
I whole heartily recommend him and I intend to use him in the future.
