Description of Work: There was no communication with Tim Heiland , the "job" supervisor. Never once did he step foot into our project. We were told it would take about 60 days to complete after we made our selections. NOT so! It was at least 90 days and 30 days past our closing date. No construction workers on site for 5 weeks. No reasons why the delay or where they were.As they were getting to the end, only 1 person here to hang the cabinets, had to wait for more workers. The site was always filthy! We had a tile install that couldn't start because the floors were covered in at least 1/4 inch of sheetrock dust. No trash container on site and also no bathroom available. I guess the garage was the dumpster! They did not clean the walls before starting the priming and painting. They also say "2" coats of paint. I guess they really mean 1 coat of primer, 1 coat of paint. The 2nd coat of paint is little dabs of touch-uo. Not what we consider 2 coats. After moving in and meeting neighbors, we found they had many of the same issues. Especially the communication. I should say LACK of communication.

 + -1 moreWe could not have asked for better quality of work, or professionalism than DDK Construction provided. Tim came to our home and measured for the cabinets and walked through our ideas with us. Within two days, we had a bid from him, which was very competative to the other two bids we'd received. We decided to hire his company. The installaion was on target with the projected date and within a week, we have a beautiful new kitchen. What sets them appart is the overall process. There wasn't one missing link. The contractor (Tim) had excellent communication with his subs, and was easy to get a hold of and had quick responses to our questions along the way. The workers were puctual, and curtious. We had a couple of changes during the process, and when we asked Tim, his response was always answered with a can do attitude. Their attention to detail is increadible. Every corner matches :) The product was built locally, and it is nice to know they are here if we ever want to add cabinetry in the future. The final invoice came in at the exact price of the bid (with adjustments per our requests). We are very impressed with DDK Construction, and would HIGHLY recommend them! Christy and Brian
Description of Work: DDK Construction built and installed custom cabinets in our kitchen. They installed the appliances, rope lighting, and light fixtures. They removed and replaced flooring in one of our bathrooms and replaced flooring in the kitchen.
