Rick is a true professional and knows his craft.  He was efficient and knowledgeable.  A pleasure to work with and will call again when needed.

This experience was a nightmare.  The gas company told us that in order to turn the gas back on, there MUST be a tag from the city to indicate that the line was inspected by a city inspector.  The day of the pressure test, we asked Rick if he had applied for the appropriate permit and he had not.  We told him that under no uncertain terms would the gas be turned on until a city inspector personally came out to see the results of the pressure test.  Rick agreed to obtain a permit over the weekend so that the gas could be turned on the following Monday.  My mother even handed him the permit application.
On Monday morning, my mother called Rick to confirm that he had obtained the permit.  He said that he did.  Also, he claimed that there were no city inspectors available until the next day, so he could just go ahead and turn on the gas.  Naturally we were suspicious so my mother called city hall and talked to an inspector.  Sure enough, he said that Rick was lying!  He did NOT have a permit!  The inspector drove straight to my mother's house and personally called Rick on the phone.  He told Rick to be at city hall at 8:00 AM the next morning to file the proper paperwork for the permit.
To be fair, Rick seemed to know his stuff.  But we lost all trust when he outright lied to my mother and tried to skirt the application process (and fee).
