Nick came highly recommended by our plumber. He provided an initial estimate that was true to actual cost and emailed his insurance info upon request. My husband did the tile and drywall demo. We were able to salvage the under layer from our previous tile floor with a bit of leveling. Nick put in the new cement board, laid the tile and applied sealant. He clearly has a good working relationship with the tile supplier we used as well. He's a nice guy, easy to talk to and to have around, which isn't essential with this sort of project but it sure is nice. It does help in working with him to be a bit flexible with your schedule as he is quite busy. He is also very dog friendly. He handled our overly exuberant puppy with experience and grace. It was clear that he's very honest in his business dealings. He wants his clients to be very happy with his work and goes the extra mile to make it perfect. His (adult) son joined him for a day or two of our project and was also very helpful and friendly. Nick's experience in his trade shows in the beautiful tile setting he did. Natural stone is harder to work with due to the variations and he did a great job. Our grout lines are perfect. Each cut is precise and he really gave good thought to arranging the pattern and color variation in our stones so that they are shown to their best effect. It looks gorgeous! We couldn't be happier. We recommend his services and will definitely hire him again in the future.
