LUMBER LIQUIDATORS

I give the price and quality of the material an A.  Their professionalism is rated lousy for omitting details and failing to return a phone message.
When the job was completed, we found that we had three boxes over and one roll of padding. I called to indicate that I was bringing these back and had to leave a message, there was no sales associate available to take the call. Nobody bothered to return the call. Now, about five days later, I had to call the store back. I was told that we were past the 30 day return date by ten days and that there was no way they will accept the material.
Therewas no mention of a time limit on the return, only there was a 20% return charge. They are also to point that out on the back of the sales slip and have the custmer sign it, but this was not done either.  I have registered a complaint with the Chairman's office regarding this.
They are unprofessional and inflexible in their dealings. We were prepared to get additional materials for other projects in the house, but we will not deal with this company again. Be very careful in your dealings with them.

LL was good about this because the salesman was not a regular employee, so they gave us a store credit (not a refund). We then purchased all beech in Bellawood. again the installer came and after putting about 100 sq ft in, stopped because of problems with milling and surface scratches. This time I asked them to stand behind their warranty and replace all the product. Luckily, they could not do it because they had no more beech and none for the foreseeable future. After quite some time and letters, documentation, phone calls. I actually got all my money back. We them went to a local installer and bought a quality product, had it finished inplace and have a beautiful floor. If you want a quality product, don't buy from LL. If you do, make sure you inspect very carefully before you install. They make you sign the invoice that says there is a 20 percent restocking fee for returns and they don't take open packages back. Like I said, I was very lucky to get a refund. Few people do.

Purchasing experience was great.  I had a low price point and they showed me the sales and helped me pick a great product.

HINT - Don't buy a dark, smooth surface.  I love how it looks, but just like everyone told me, it is slippery and shows EVERY piece of dust.

Their customer service was pleasant.  The product was accurately described.  It was slick and simple purchase.  They were good.  The price was pretty good.  I will use them only to buy another product.

I decided to use them because they were close by and we had some friends that had used them before. I have not received any of their products yet, but they extended their offer for an extra day so that I could take advantage of that due to some issues we had with getting the financing to go through.
