We offer a full scale vacuum sales center with over 50 different vacuum models including hand vacs, stick vacs, light weight vacuums, canister vacuums, commercial vacuums and carpet steam cleaners, too! The woman who helped us was very informative and asked many questions about our home and how we clean and what type of floors etc. She then made a recommendation, let us try out any machines we wanted and gave us a really good price. We actually bought 2 vacuums which so completely fit our needs. Their warranty and repair services sound amazing too, so we know we can go to them with any questions, concerns or repairs in the future. They even re-cycled our old machine which was broken beyond repair!

Michael Bailey, owner, was able to fix our 25 year old system and kept the costs down. He is very service oriented and saves the owner money. We would definitely use this company again.

Chanhassen Vacuum was recommended by a friend/Angie's member. This is a family owned company and I mainly worked with Virginia. I got a complete description and demonstration of several makes and models. She is very knowledgeable and thorough, discussing pros and cons of each. I spent plenty of time testing the vacuums and checking out features on my own. Virginia answered all of my questions. The service is friendly and experienced and I appreciated the relaxed environment. I never felt pressured or rushed. The brands Chanhassen Vacuum carries are high quality with a higher price tag than I was really prepared for. I did go to Sears to see what Kenmore had to offer. There was no comparison in terms of sales help or quality. My husband and I went back to see Virginia and he tried several vacuums himself. He was so impressed with the design and maneuverability of the Miele canister (and so quiet!) that we went home with one! We traded in our old vacuum to get a 10% discount. Every little bit helps...they offer coupons, too. We both value great customer service and try to support local businesses when we can. Virginia and Michael have many years of experience. Repairs are done on site for any brand of vacuum and their location is very convenient. NOTE: Google Maps does not show the proper location. Chanhassen Vacuum is located on the first floor of gray Chanhassen Office Complex, off 101, next to Lotus Lawn & Garden.

I was not impressed with their presence. They were laughing and talking amongst themselves and they brushed what I siad to them to the side. One spot that I thought should have looked cleaner but they said they would come back and look at it. I have a glass table and they put my chairs on top of my glass table, not cushion side down, when cleaning my carpet. They were there on the minute, very punctual. They said they would come back and look at the job and kind of gave me an attitude about it and still has yet to come. I did not like their responsiveness or attitude. They were careful not when bringing in equipment so that they did not track in snow or any other things.

They had the vacuum for less than a week when they called to say we could pick it up. He explained that he had difficulty getting at the dog hair in the cleaner, but that he had done the best he could do and at least it was working again. (We have 2 dogs and I purchased this cleaner specifically because it was advertised for homes with animals.) He explained the difficulty with this particular vacuum. We spent quite a lot of time discussing vacuums and what makes good ones. He was very professional and really didn't try to sell me a new cleaner, but when this one stops working I will go back to him to buy my next one. He seemed very knowledgeable and his cleaners are no more expensive than what I spent on my Dyson - but they have a 5 year guarantee with a yearly servicing included. I was very impressed.

I have used Riccar vacuums for over 10 years. These vacuums have been effective and reliable. I had heard about a new model with a "life time" belt. I went to the store to check on this model. The salesperson explained the features of the "life time belt" model. I was able to try out the floor model. This is a store that specializes in vacuums. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They service what they sell. It is a pleasure to be a customer here.

This is a first rate company; the cleaning quality is fabulous and Michael Bailey the company owner does the cleaning himself so you know it will be well done. Our cleaned carpet looks and feels like it did when it was newer. Michael is very contentious and asked me to walk all the floor space to point out any spots prior to starting. Only green products were used in the cleaning so there were no residue smell or air problems during the cleaning or drying. Family members have allergies and asthma and this was the first time we have had our carpet cleaned that we did not have allergic responses. I learned about their carpet cleaning service, when I visited their store in Chanhassen to get new vacuum filter bags. They showed me the generic bags to save me some money even though they carry the company brand name bags. I?ve brought my vacuum cleaner to them for repair and they are efficient and more than fair on price. They also sell new vacuums. I highly recommend both the carpet cleaning and store.

I took my Hoover in and they replaced the electrical cord and spruced it up. I'm not really sure what they charged, I just remember it was really reasonable. I have also shopped there for bags and belts and have found them to be extremely professional and helpful.
