We really like him. He has come to my house a few times. We've generally called him because we have to call him a lot less than we ever had to call any other plumber. He always has charged us a good price. He's very honest. He does not fix things that didn't need fixing. Last time, he really could have cleaned our main drain. He's very professional, very prompt and reasonably priced. The price is amazing. He has never been late other than like when he has called and said, "I'm going to be late."

Chris was very prompt both times he came to our house. He is extremely thorough and does high quality work. He showed us where there were problems and explained everything he needed to do, so we have full confidence and trust in him and in his work. He cleaned up after himself better than most contractors we've hired for messy jobs. He was also polite and professional.

Chris returned my call and worked me into his schedule on short notice. He was very methodical and thorough in troubleshooting the issue. Finally concluded that a portion of the bleach puck that I had placed in the tank got sucked into the works and was slowing the water flow. He had to run to another job but offered to come back later to install a new toilet. I decided to install the new toilet myself, but I did call Chris while I was at the store and he gave me some pointers in selecting the toilet. Great guy, very competent.

I am selling my home and the buyers had hired Roto Rooter to scope the main sewer line as part of the inspection process. Roto Rooter told them the whole line needed to be replaced and quoted them $11,250. I called Chris Babcock-Drain Solutions to come and give me/us a second opinion. (Two year previously RR had told me the same thing and my brother-in-law recommended Chris for a second opinion.) In both instances the line replacement was not needed! The buyers and their agent came and we all looked on as Chris scoped the drain. He explained what we were looking at. He answered my questions, as well as the buyers. There was no evidence of any repairs that were needed, or total replacement. We were all satisfied with his opinion. Chris saved me $11,250!!

Chris did a great job of diagnosing the problem. He tried the simplest solution first (auger), then moved on to removing the toilet and bringing in larger power equipment. He kept me informed of the time and cost each step of the way. He removed his shoes, put down towels around his work area and ensured he cleaned up after he was done reinstalling the toilet. He even gave me some pointers on fixing another plumbing problem in my downstairs shower on my own. He absolutely couldn't have done a better job. A+ work.
