WALDOCK BROTHERS FIREWOOD

Just as advertised. Great guys, nice wood, job done quickly and professionally. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Despite numerous calls and messages left, we got no response. The voicemail said they were still selling firewood but I have to question whether they have gone out of business.

So I called Waldock, and I am glad I did - my 8' fireplace rack is now full to the brim with 2-year-seasoned firewood ready for burning - delivered and stacked. Cheerful guys worked like demons in 4 degrees F to get the job done! I am really happy with their service and would thoroughly recommend.

Wood was stacked neatly in our rack. It's our second year using Waldock and we wouldn't hesitate to give them a call next year too.

Received message back on Angie's List within several hours of initiating contact. Once provided address and desired amount of firewood, delivery was made within four days. Wood was stacked nicely. We have had very bad wood from another company, plus the "stuff" we've picked up at the gas stations - yuck. Very pleased that Waldock's quality is good - nice mix with some birch for that crackling effect. The price is an added bonus. Definitely will reorder in the future.

. This was delivered to my daughter's house. I was not able to meet him there, but he graciously allowed me to mail him the check. Highly recommended. The firewood was excellent - dry, not too large of logs - perfect for the fireplace. I do not like sharing the location address of my daughter's house, however, the review could not be completed without this. Would Like Angie's list to respond and explain the need for this.

Waldock was EASY to work with! Great communication, good prices, and prompt. I couldn't meet them at the house which wasn't a problem for them. I got home from work and they had expertly stacked all the wood in the back of my house where I had indicated, cleaned up the yard of anyone fall off pieces and left an invoice on the door. These guys rock.

Excellent. Showed up a little early and delivered a nicely stacked, well seasoned fireplace cord of wood. A nicely mixed variety of woods, and they burn well with differing colors of flames.

They got overwhelmed with calls due to rumors of firewood shortages so their ability to return calls promptly was not there, but I can understand that. They aren't a large operation. Bottom line, he shows up when he says, the firewood magically appears in my rack all stacked, no trace of a any mess out front, and wood is good.

I called them twice about a week apart for delivery of firewood and left messages both times. I never heard back from them. Complete waste of time.

They were dependable, reliable, personable and were easy to work with. The price was reasonable. They delivered and stacked it for me. They did an amazing job. I called them again for wood this year.

Everything went very smoothly. Fourth year in a row using Waldock Brothers for our firewood. They always deliver nice seasoned firewood that is ready to burn.

I was very impressed with Waldock firewood. They were very responsive and actually delivered within a few hours of me calling. I was lucky that they were in the area. They stacked it up very neatly and measured the stack to ensure they provided the right quantity. I will definitely use them in the future!

Darrel and his partner did a great job of delivering and stacking the wood. The cord was a mix of about 75% oak and 25% birch and was is well seasoned. I recommend Waldock to all my neighbors and handed out Darrel's cards at the pizza party.

Called Waldock Firewood and left a message telling them I was interested in purchasing some firewood. Darrel called me back the same day and left a message. He actually called back again that evening trying to reach me. When we set a date and time for delivery he arrived exactly when he said he would. They unloaded and stacked the wood very quickly and neatly. We just had our first fire and the wood burned great.

No problem. Darrell delivers a quality product, stacks it beautifully, and charges a fair price. Plus, he is a genuinely nice guy and a good conversationalist - the kind of person you look forward to seeing and with whom you want to do business. To the member who gave this company an F rating, you could have just as easily given him all A's for the 5 years he supplied you with excellent service. Yes, he might take a little while to return your call, but you're not ordering a hamburger at the drive-through, you're dealing with a small independent business that has it's own schedule and could likely benefit without your unfair negativity.

Good wood. Buy it. I will again.
