Tom's work was first-class. His workmanship is beautiful. All runs are perfectly laid out. Everything is tight and nicely installed and supported. He left no trash laying around, he cleaned up very well. You would never know he had been in the house except that all the work was complete. Total time span from first contact to work complete was about 4 or 5 days. I have at least 3 work colleagues who have used Tom and had the same kind of results: perfect job. Tom is: 1. Courteous 2. Prompt 3. Knowledgeable (lots of experience, decades) 4. Communicates well 5. Does the job agreed to (and more!) and does it really well. This is how every contractor should be. I'd use Tom again without any thought about it. One thing we all noticed: you know how often times a contractor will make large, sloppy holes through structure? Tom's holes are just barely big enough and perfect. This is just a good example of what his workmanship is like.
Description of Work: Tom obtained a permit for and installed new 220V GFIC circuit (including a special GFIC 220V breaker) from our service box to a new hot tub which is outside the house. He also installed a GFIC outside quadruple outlet, which is inside a metal box that can be locked, even when it is in use. The length of the circuit is about 30-40 feet and penetrates the wall between floor joists in an un-finished basement area, at a spot where the wall is about 5-inches thick of wood (support for the deck.) He also made all the electrical connections for the hot tub system that includes a pump, filter, and 100,000 BTU propane-fired heater. (Tom even replaced a worn out 4-way wall switch in our basement for free, he provided the switch.)
