Jet Black did an outstanding job. The 2-person crew cleaned thoroughly and were meticulous about keeping all edges clean. Driveway is bordered by lawn, pavers for a walkway, crushed stone, and small landscaping stones, and all edges were done well. The driveway looks great. We've very happy with the result. The crew were courteous, finished in the time they stated and cleaned up well. Great service!

I called Jet-Black last year to come out for an estimate because over the years I had seen many driveways in my St. Louis Park neighborhood that had used Jet-Black for asphalt coating and I was sold on the quality. I found his professional manner and consistent responsiveness to be very commendable and responsible. I had to reschedule my appointment several times and he was very gracious about it and I appreciate that very much. His assistent is also detail oriented and they make a great time and work in a very skilled and confident manner and it shows! The quality of the work has been excellent. Jet-Black did not get a drop of asphalt on my stucco house which is up against the driveway and they did not get a drop of asphalt on the metal window wells. I am so pleased and at all at a great price. I was happy to include a tip in my payment. Great job!

After I emailed for an estimate, Don came by the next day to look at the driveway. He gave us a date for the following week, and was here when he said he would be. It turned out there was a slight mutual misunderstanding as to the extent of the area to be blacktopped, which we did not notice until after Don and his crew had left. When we phoned to explain, Don said that due to other commitments, he was tied up for the remainder of the week, but he would be able to do it the following week, and he would call when he had a firm date. The following week, he phoned and let us know that he would be able to do it the next day. He came over and did the job. When I asked if he wanted something more than his original quote to make up for the inconvenience of having to come out again, he declined. Don was very personable and did a good, professional job.

I had a great experience. I left a message on the company's answering machine asking for an estimate. They drove by the house very soon after and left a detailed quote on the porch. When I called a few days later on a Monday, they scheduled the driveway for that Wednesday. When I got home from work on Wednesday, the driveway was done and roped off with an invoice left on the porch. The work was great! There was a good deal of dirt and weeds growing in cracks and they were able to power wash it all off. The cracks were all filled, and the topcoat was applied without any noticeable spilling at the edges. It has been about a month since the work, and the driveway still looks great!

Overall, I think they did the best they could. My report would have been more positive except for my after job completion experience. There were a couple holes after they were done. One in particular was about 3" across and 2-3" deep and I asked to have filled. I am not happy with the "patch" that was done, as it does not blend with the rest of the drive.

I requested a specific date to coincide with graduation party and they were extremely accommodating.

DID NOT RESPOND TO MY CALL TO COME DO THE CRACK OVER. IT WAS DONE VERY SLOPPY, AND THE CRACK IS NOT FILLED. ALL F'S BECAUSE OF THIS!
