The previous owner of my home installed a train that went around my kitchen, dining room, and through a stairwell. The only problem is they cut through an asbestos duct. Unfortunately we didn't know that until a few weeks prior to us hiring a-1. They called me, came out the next day a Friday, and came out to abate the pipe. Their team is thorough and very re-assuring and explained everything that they were going to do.

They promised testing would be done and failed to deliver. They also disrupted two separate electrical circuits and broke plaster off in another room as they removed the duct work. When asked if they would fix this or pay to have it fixed, the refused to do anything about the electrical but said theyd have someone come by to repair the plaster. They failed to deliver on this as well.

I hired A-1 to remove the vermiculite insulation in my attic because it likely contained asbestos. After the work was completed and I went into the attic, I could see how tough of a job this really was, but Joes crew was up to the task and hard working. Very happy with the end results.

Excellent customer service, did a great job. However, paid on the job site and 5 months later have not provided documentation of asbestos abatement/air quality assessment information. Called once to request but no one got back to me.

Joe and his crew got right down to work, were friendly, and went beyond what they had to do. I had taken down ceiling tiles and they helped remove ones with light fixtures but best they offerred to dispose of them for me. They put things back together and in working order when they left. The price was less then I had planned for considering it took longer then originally planned. At they end we shook hands but then came the hugs. A very hard working group of men.
