We finalized a contract with a bid.  At the end of the job I was asked for more money for things that were not covered in the contract and we didn't ask for or request.  They had to do sheet-rock, insulation, windows, flooring.  The fire was so damaging that 2 joists had to be glued and bolted in place.  Our insurance company covered the expenses for the job.  As Golden Hatchet required a payment we just withdrew the money and paid them.  Now months after the job is done we find out there is a lien on our home.  Lampert is the company that supplied a lot of the product that was used for the rebuild.  Golden Hatchet collected money from us that should have been paid to Lampert as they were the vendor.  This did not happen so now there is a $3059.57 lien on my home.  This even after we have a lien waiver signed with Golden Hatchet.  Since finding out about the lien I have talked with Lampert and have discovered that they have several customers that have the same problem with Golden Hatchet.  So this means that Lampert has liens on other homes because of Golden Hatchet.

They plowed our driveway this past winter, one of the snowiest in a long time. They plowed automatically after 3 inches of snow fell. They showed up when they were supposed to and did a great job on all the extra snow. They also shoveled the walk to the propane tank and to our front door. We hope to use them again next winter.
The cost stated was for the entire winter.
