East Central Veterinarians

They have exceptional veterinarians there especially one lady who really is exceptional. She knows her business, so we have always been happy going there.

This was my second pet that I had taken to East Central Vet in Cambridge for the same reason. I live in Minneapolis, but because i grew up near Cambridge have gone to this vet clinic for my animals final journey because we bury them and quot;up Northand quot; on the farm where I grew up, It has been a good experince both times, that is however good it can be for the situation that you are bringing your dog in. They bring you back right away and don't make you agonize by sitting in the waiting room. You allowed to sit on a nice rug on the floor in the room with you dog if you want to. They give you the option of staying with them or waiting outside The vet came in and talked with me for minute or two about her and what a wonderful pet she had been before explaining how things were going to work.. My dog was heavily sedated and then allowed to wander around the room. She swiftly fell into a deep sleep on my lap on the floor. I really appreciated that the vet didn't ask me to move at all while giving the final injection. They were compasionate, clearly told me what was going to happen and how long it would take. All of that was important to me. When the procedure was done, they laid her in a nice white box, suitable for burial and brought her out the car for me. I saw a different vet each time and they were both wonderful. Staff at check in and vet tech also showed caring attitudes and professionalism.

They are pretty good overall, but a little expensive. They are very nice overall. Some are better with animals than others. They are normally conscientious and thorough. I have an older cat that I take yearly for an exam. They advised us we needed to take care of the surgery and they were able to schedule it the next day. We have trouble with stray cats. I wanted to get it neutered, but I didn’t have the money. They held the check for a month. The only problem was that they didn’t give me all the information about the stray. I told them and they said they would talk about that at their next meeting.
