DARWIN PEST CONTROL

Rodent-proofing - sealed entry points for mice. Advised about other methods for pre-emotive rodent control.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was real good. He was friendly, flexible and he was good all the way round. I was real pleased with them. He waited a while for us because we had to clear the garage first.

The son of the owner came to my house.  He was very nice, professional, knowledgeable.  I would use them again.

Even though they came promptly and was courteous; I thought they charged too much for what they did.  They put out a couple of mouse traps and performed a visual inspection around the house and checked in the kitchen.  I believe I was quoted $70, but must of not heard it properly. I did mention the $200 price that was listed in the review; he said, it must have been a full blown inspection.  At any rate, when I found out how much he was going to charge (around $190), he gave 10% off; came down to around $181.00.  If I would have know it was going to be this much, I wouldn't have used the service.

I called Dennis and explained my rodent problem to him and asked if he would be able to come by the next morning, which he graciously did.  He and Aaron arrived on time even though they had to travel a good distance for the appointment.  They walked the entire perimeter of the house filling crevices that were being used for entrance and then through the inside of the house checking places that we would have never imagined to look.  Dennis gave us a very knowledgeable assessment of the creatures' habits and how they travel throughout the house and also filled crevices there.  He and Aaron placed bait stations and blocks where we would have never thought to.  They did a very thorough job and we have had no evidence of rodents since their visit. They were prepared to come back if we needed them to.   It was a pleasure meeting both of them.  They were very friendly, explained everything completely and really know their stuff . . . and their prices are very fair.  We plan on doing a follow-up visit next Fall and every year thereafter.  And we will call them for other pest control needs that we may have.  We highly recommend them!

My wife is deathly afraid of spiders and we have used Darwin for years and have been very, very happy. Each spring he comes out promptly, sprays our basement and other areas thoroughly and has always done a neat job. After he visits, the bugs don't bug us!

Whenever we call him, he responds back, and tells us when he's available.  He's done a very good job.  The last time he was here, was because we called him for wasps, which he sprayed.  We called him on a Saturday, almost like a last minute thing. We have a rather big yard.  I definitely rate him A for responsiveness, and will continue to use in in the future.

They gave us a free estimate with no pressure.  They were very reasonably priced and they were very prompt service.  Dennis was easy to work with and with a high level of trust.  He didn't want payment until problem was solved and I would highly recommend him.

We called to have a carpenter ant problem addressed.  We received 3 bids and  Darwin pest control was the cheapest.  Additionally, Dennis made a great impression over the phone.  We were concerned about our infant and exposure to chemicals used, and Dennis was the most convincing person I spoke to regarding the potential risks.The men who came to our house were very kind and knowledgable.  They were able to get out to our home within an acceptable time frame (< 1 week).  We had a potential concern due to rain falling shortly after the chemical application.  Dennis called in the early evening to assure us that everything would be okay, that the rain shouldn't affect the treatment.   We haven't had an issue with the ants since our house was treated.  I would definitely recommend Darwin Pest Control. 

I call Dennis Darwin at Darwin's Pest Control every May.  Each time I call, he answers his phone and is very responsive.  This year he was at my home within 2 hours of my call.  He explained what he was going to do, got it done quickly and was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable.  He goes above and beyond and will answer any question.  I have asked him to solve problems for us and nothing is ever a problem.  I have complete confidence in Dennis and appreciate his dedication.  I give him the highest recommendation.

Dennis answered his phone on the morning of July 5th, the day after a major holiday, apparently already out servicing other houses in the neighborhood. He arrived later that day, promptly at the agreed upon time and was very courteous and professional. He was great with our children and dog. Dennis was very knowledgeable and explained the insecticide he was using. He provided us with a 30 day guarantee from the time of application that if we saw any other bugs in the house, he would come out and respray at no cost to us. Dennis has provided us excellent service over the last five years, and I would recommend him to anyone.

I would give them all A's. They came right away and on the day that I called them. They showed up later in the day to address the problem.

This was the second year we had Darwin Pest Control spray the outside of our house to avoid a summer of centipedes. And I didn't see ONE of those buggers all of 2009!

Ants were on the inside wall (field ants, I guess) coming in from open space around an AC unit pipe into the house. Mark came quickly, sprayed the wall, I patched the hole and they were gone.

I called two different Angie's resources regarding the same problem. Dennis personally answered his phone and was at my residence within 2 hours. He quickly found the source and applied some ant killer within the wall cavity, safely away from the dogs. We discussed the mice immigration in the fall and again, I feel his methods are safer for pet households and I will certainly call him in October as a prevention to the problem. He was responsive, careful, and thorough. The price seemed a little high for the time incurred, but when you consider the cost of service calls for other trades it's probably comparable.
