Bucket Painting

Had 2 separate experiences with this company. Hired them to remove wallpaper and they actually did a good job at that, they brought 4 other people to do the job in one day. Did a decent job, so I asked them to do some interior painting of walls and kitchen cabinets. That job did not go well. They tried to paint my kitchen cabinets in my garage in Minnesota in April. Needless to say, the paint did not dry properly. It took them longer than originally quoted, because the paint wasn't drying in the cold weather. I felt they should have been professional enough to know that the cabinets should be painted in the cold. It even says it on the paint can, to use in temperatures no less than 50 degrees (it did not get above 40 degrees in April). When I asked to have the job done properly, the owners attitude immediately changed and he tried to make me believe there were no problems with the cracking in the paint, and they did not need another coat of paint. Even though you could still see the wood on one side of each cabinet. They also got paint all over my garage floor and tried to blame it on me! To make a long story, short, after arguing (yes, arguing) with the owner and even getting my husband involved, they FINALLY agreed to come back and finish the job, but stating they would only give me one more day and I had to buy more paint that was needed. I agreed at first, then decided I would just finish it myself as I did not think they would do the job well after my original experience. Not happy at all.
