It took several weeks and several visits before the tub was running, which was not too surprising given how long it was out of service. The most frustrating part was thy could never give an exact window of when they would get to the house so we had to just wait. They also wanted us to drill up a concrete floor to find the cause of an obstruction, which we eventually cleared ourselves using a shop vac (ping pong balls, not a collapsed pipe). That caused quite a delay in the whole process, but ultimately th spa works and we're enjoying it.

bought a spa from Valley Pools and Spas. The sales team was very professional and helpful. They considered my requirements and presented options for consideration with the pros and cons versus my requirements. We came to an agreement and the delivery and installation went well and on time. The spa teach was excellent and the spa has met all my expectations. The spa purchase experience was excellent.

I thought that they were real professional, and provided a good service for a reasonable price. They also provided the contractors who, in the end, came out and removed the pool for me. If I still had a pool, I would still be working with them.

    I purchased a new spa from Valley Pools and Spas after shopping several of the other local spa dealers.  I choose Valley Pools because the sales person very knowledgeable about spas and they were even honest enough to tell us what other companies are comparable to the quality of a Marquis spa.  The spa was ordered in the colors I choose and delivered on time as promised.

We have used Valley Pools and Spas for a number of years since they put our inground pool in our backyard.  We choose them because of Angie's List.  As soon as our pool was in the ground, the problems began.  Due to a warranty with Valley we are required to use them for certain services.  Our last few service calls have resulted in multiple service calls ( and attempted service charges) to fix the issues.  The typical scenario is that we call and they quickly respond.  They come out and look at the problem but do not fix the issue.  That results in another service calls. I understand if they don't have the parts required to fix the job, and need to come back but our experience is that is not the issue. They are not fixing the problem. 

One of our last service calls resulted in the service tech being at our house for 5m ins ( documented on the bill - they put the time arrived and the time they leave).  They claimed that nothing was wrong with our pool heater.  We had to call them again ( they attempted to charge us for another service call ) and stand and watch them to prove that there was something wrong with the heater.  Ultimately, they did admit that there was an issue that needed fixing.

But for our warranty, i would not use Valley.

Within a couple of days of my call to Valley Pools and Spas a representative performed the work on an outdoor spa.  I was not notified at the time of the visit and no invoice or paper notification was provided that the work had been completed.  The only indication that the work had been performed was the fact that the filters had been removed from the spa and placed neatly along side of the spa and a charge appeared on my credit card.  I did not receive a courtesy call or any further notification.

The team arrived on time.  Their overall demeanor was professional and helpful.  They listened carefully and respectfully as I described the solutions that I had already identified (I do not always find this to be true as I am a young-ish female). After that, they took some time to access the problem.  Fairly quickly, they reported to me that they believed that it was a broken oxidizer, which would require ordering that part.  They were upfront about the fact that it could not be determined 100% that the new oxidizer would resolve the problem until it was installed.  After that, I would have to closely monitor the situation.  All of this was fine with me.  I would always rather have someone be honest then promise that a problem is fixed when it's not.

They returned in few days with the oxidizer and installed it.  I monitored the tub for about a week and found it to be working perfectly.  6 months later, it still is.

Tony was quite a bit late to the appointment, but did an excellent job after that. He spent about 30 minutes inspecting the pool, deck and equipment, then spent almost that long with us going through his detailed report. Tony also spent time going through each piece of equipment, its operation, its approximate age, the problem if there was one, when we could expect to have to replace it, and how much it would cost to replace it. We were extremely pleased with the amount of information we received for the amount of money we paid.

The overall sales experience went well with Valley. The delivery was smooth and installation went well. The only potential problem is with their repair service. I called them about a non-functioning ozonator (under warranty) and the service guy came to my house to replace it. While trying to replace the ozonator, he either broke or shorted out the main control panel. After spending some time talking to the manufacturer on his cell phone, he gave up and decided to order a new panel. his resulted in having to wait 1-2 weeks for the replacement part to come in. This was potentially a problem because the outside temperature was below freezing and frozen water lines are not covered by their warranty. Three different service guys later, they finally got it fixed. My impression was that the service guys are not very well trained to work on these hot tubs.

My salesperson was very polite and very helpful. She was able to answer all my questions in a timely fashion. The coordiator was also very helpful. Even the installers were polite, friendly and answered our questions. The project was finished on schedule and the quality of the pool & spa have been outstanding. They even came out after the sale/installation to show us how to use both the pool & spa. I am very glad I picked Valley Pools & Spas for our project.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH VALLEY POOL & SPA HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. SALESMAN, DAVE SAMPLE, WAS STRAIGHT-FORWARD AND WE DID NOT FEEL OVERLY PRESSURED. THE SCHEDULER DID A NICE JOB AND THE INSTALLERS WERE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL TO US AND OUR PROPERTY. MY ONE SUGGESTION IS THAT THEY EXPLAIN EXACTLY HOW THE VARIOUS EQUIPMENT WILL WORK AND WHY, IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THAT SORT OF THING. (I WAS SURPRISED TO FIND OUT THAT THE AUTOMATIC POOL CLEANER DOES NOT HAVE A SEPARATE SKIMMER LINE.) ALSO, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE HOMEOWNERS TO BE AT THE SITE FOR A FEW HOURS THE MORNING OF THE DIG TO DISCUSS FINAL PLACEMENT OF THE POOL, ELEVATIONS AND TO HANDLE ANY SOIL ISSUES ENCOUNTERED DURING THE DIG. FINALLY, I FOUND THE "RECOMMENDED" SUB-CONTRACTORS (ELECTRIC, GAS AND CONCRETE) TO BE GREAT PEOPLE, ALTHOUGH THEIR PRICES WERE 15-20% MORE THAN THE VALLEY POOL ESTIMATE FOR THOSE SERVICES. NONETHELESS, THE FACT THAT THOSE SUBS WORK ON MANY VALLEY POOL PROJECTS MADE SCHEDULING REALLY EASY.
