I texted her at 8 am to ask whether she was coming and received no response. At roughly 8:40 am, I texted her to inform her that I hired her to perform a service and that I'd like a response as to whether she was coming. I finally got a response stating that she had a hectic schedule and her customers understand that.
I understand a hectic schedule, but I don't understand making promises to paying customers you can't keep. I restated that all I was seeking was a degree of communication to keep me informed. She suggested I find a different cleaning service, and now I'll pass that suggestion along in this review: find a different cleaning service.
Heidi demonstrated consistently that she has poor time-management skills, poor customer-relation skills and little, if any, dedication to her customers and by extension, then, her company. I found Tidy Heidi to be inconsistent, unprofessional, wholly lacking in dedication and disinterested in customer satisfaction. I strenuously recommend AGAINST hiring this company.
"Unfortunately, this review is a blatant lie! I did have to reschedule, however I had also stated that I would try to squeeze them in to my schedule at a time that was NOT their normal rotation and so that there were NO guarantees because my regular clients that originally have those time slots would be first priority and that I am a 1 person company and that sometimes clients ask for special projects to be done, but do not give me a heads up until I get to their home. I try to make ALL my clients happy, so I try not to say no to any of them and be accommodating. The person who wrote this review, I have met once upon my visit to their home when I provided their initial quote. So, I have no idea how they are stating that they had all these conversations with me. All communication was with Brian Minogue, not Melissa. I decided to discontinue service with them because of the tone and lack of respect Brian gave to me, time and time again. He does not speak to you as a person, he speaks down to you and at you and this is not a good working relationship or environment to be in. He apologized to me for his behavior and when I didn't back down and agree to clean for him, I got this review on Angie's list. I have done everything and anything to rectify the situation, including referring him to another cleaning company that I highly recommended to him that is actually located in his area. I also followed up with him and offered to do a final clean to complete the house and get it up to par for a new cleaner to come in and continue upkeep on the home. The reason the basement didn't get done on the first initial clean was because they did not leave enough money for the time needed to finish the clean, so I contacted Brian and asked him what he wanted to do and we agreed to complete the basement on the following visit and I stated how much extra that would cost and what should be left for the next payment. It's funny that they are only giving my initial clean a B, because I received several texts that evening after the first initial clean stating how wonderful the house looked. This home had a years worth of dust on all furniture and floors and at least 6-12 months of filth in the showers and bathrooms. It was an extensive clean beyond measure and my worst home to date. Let's be honest here, {Member's name} and call a spade a spade. I stood up to you for the way you spoke to me and were treating me and decided to withdraw my services to you and this is what I got for it. The only unprofessional person here is you. I have done everything to accommodate you that is humanly possible for one person."
