We have had The Cleaning Authority in Burnsville clean our house a number of times.
They have a methodology in which they clean the whole house every time they come and do a deeper clean of f sections of the house on a rotation (so every 4 times there is some area getting a deeper clean). They also say that they have inspectors and that if you aren't satisfied, let them know right away and they will make it right. In theory, I like this approach.
I have always been pleased that they come to clean on the days that they clean. They are reliable about showing up to clean as scheduled. They aren't always reliable about the time that they show up, but they come during the day when we are at work, so it doesn't affect us very much. I have not had any issues with our possessions (a few things that were not of high value were broken, but this was admitted by the cleaners.)
While it will be a hassle to find someone else, I have found the quality of the service to be poor and the customer service to be poor.
Quality: We are paying for a service -- to clean the house. They are professional cleaners, so I would expect the quality to be better than I might do myself. Every time they come, I need to inspect their work. It seems that their inspectors either don't see the dirt or don't inspect. Inevitably, they miss things or leave things in poor quality. For example, after a number of weeks with them doing the cleaning in my bathroom, there was fungus growing in the toilet. I complained about this. They said that they use natural cleaners. Never in my life have I had this happen when the toilet is being cleaned regularly --- I don't buy it.
Another example: we have a stainless steel kitchen sink. They do not use a stainless steel cleaner, so the sink doesn't look clean when they are done.
Another example: they say that they get behind and under furniture on the rotation. After a number of months of them doing the cleaning, there were cobwebs and dirt behind the furniture. Very clear that it hadn't been cleaned. I complained about it. They said that they would inspect more often. There is no indication that this has been done.
When I have told the owner that I am not satisfied, I get a glib response that is just words. Action doesn't follow.
I think the price is a little high and for the poor quality, it is definitely overpriced!
The local franchise owner came to give an estimate and was on time. Lars. Then he responded to my request for service immediately. I requested the following week. He said they would be there between 11am-1pm. Due to my varying work schedule, he also said we could request different times or days by calling that week -- a very important criteria for us choosing a service provider.
The day of service, 1pm rolled around and no one was there or called. I called the company and was kicked to the corporate call center (the receptionists there were the only people I have been able to contact since this all started). They said they had me scheduled for 3:00-5:00. I was annoyed as I had been waiting around for the cleaners to come, so I asked for a call back from the owner. They asked if I'd still like service, which I did, and also they said they'd put down that I needed a call the day before cleaning to confirm a time. Around 4pm I called to confirm that someone was still in fact coming, as no one had shown up yet. Once they showed up shortly after 4, there were 4-5 women who were nice and cleaned well. Despite having asked the corporate office twice to discuss my issues with scheduling with the local owner, he NEVER CALLED ME BACK.
The day before my next scheduled cleaning, by 3:45pm I still had not heard anything. I called and got the corporate call center. They said I'd receive a call by 5pm from the local office to confirm time for the next day. Nothing by 5:15. I called back and they said the local office was closed for the day. Lars is still MIA as far as returning any of my calls. I canceled my service due to poor customer service and communication - I will not give them another dime.
I think the cleaning that was done was fine. The women who came into the house were fine. It was nothing overwhelming but the dirtiness of the new home we'd just moved into was improved.
This company has HORRIBLE customer service, as they never returned any calls or lived up to their promises. I would recommend using another service!

Cleaning is extremely subjective, what is a great clean for one individual may be considered sub par by another. We strive for perfection on each and every clean and if our customer calls, we will be more than happy to listen and respond appropriately and in a swift and professional manner!
