We had been trying to sell a house in Richfield, MN, and the city required 3 pages worth of items to bring up to code. Plus the buyers wanted several additional items. Unfortunately, we only had two weeks before the closing date. Our realtor recommended a contractor, but the contractor recommended had a really low score on Angie's List, plus the contractor couldn't guarantee the work to be done by the closing date. We did a bit of research, and this company, R.O.C Solid Builders was recommended to us. Bob, the owner of the company was able to meet at the house the very next day. Not only was he super professional, but he is a genuine, honest, decent person who was just amazing to work with. He got us an estimate with a day, and he was able to guarantee the finish date a full six days before the closing. Not only did he and his awesome team meet that deadline, he was willing to meet with the city inspector to go through the house, just to make sure everything was perfect before the closing. Bob and his team totally went above and beyond the work requested. He was detail-oriented and made sure we were in the loop with the timeline and what work was being done. He even went through and explained the items on the list from the city, so that I knew exactly what needed to be done in the house, since I am not familiar with city codes. An examples of how amazing Bob and his company are:- the buyers requested the insulation in the attic be removed and new insulation installed. To be up to code, it had to be a certain level of thickness. Because the attic is pretty inaccessible, when he and his team were done with the work, he took pictures, showing insulation thickness so that we could show the buyers. This was an awesome gesture, and something I would never of thought of to do. We will definitely be using R.O.C. Solid Builders if/when we do any remodeling on our current house. I would recommend him and his excellent team to anyone.
