We're a locally owned General Contractor, specializing in the full spectrum of exterior restoration from storm damage including roofing, siding, windows, gutters, and painting. Our specially trained field reps meet with home owners to access the property and identify damage that most people don't even know they have. We offer complete home inspections at no charge. We can identify typical storm damage or age/installation related issues. We can help you with various stages of your project or manage the job from start to finish. Polar Builders is hands down the best contractor we have worked with. All aspects of our roof project were handled promptly and professionally. Gary was the lead for our project and was always very straight forward and transparent on the scope of the project. Polar did a great job, very professional in all respects and with quality. But best of all they took care of all of the insurance company problems. And that was a problem I just couldn't deal with without Polar's effort, which has been above and beyond what should have been necessary.

Polar builders was fantastic to work with!! They walked me through the process with our insurance company and mad certain everything was done to code and our expectations. The crew was courteous and very pleasant to deal with. When they where done they cleaned everything up right down to last nail. Our house and garage look fantastic, far better than we could have imagined! I would definitely recommend Polar Builders!

I have been working with Polar Builders for nearly a year on an insurance storm damage claim. Many contractors had come out to take a look at the scope of the work and then would not get back to me or follow through. My experience was much different with Polar. They took on my claim and were patient and diligent throughout the process. The crews that they had come out to do my windows, siding, and roof were amazing. They all were professional, hard working, and did an excellent job. I would recommend their company for any of your building needs!

While we were unaware that our roof was damaged, thank you to Walter we not only became informed, but also ended up with a full replacement that was covered by insurance! Thank you to Walter for his conscientious service and thorough follow through. It was a great experience working with him. The crew that came out to complete the project was top notch and very dedicated to the project. They were here sun up to sun down. No rest for that team!! Thank you for all of the hard work!

Went with Polar following Hail damage to home and referral from a neighbor. Process was seamless, only a few small glitches which were handled timely and professionally. Initial evaluation was completed the day I contacted by Matt a field sales guy. Matt and Dan Lillestol met my adjuster a week later and encouraged him to evaluate damaged areas of roof and flashing. Dan and the home office worked with Insurance company to get approved for a new roof due to no shingle matches after forensic analysis at a shingle laboratory, how about that? It was a 2 day job, roofers were professional and cleaned up after complete. quality of work is great. no complaints. Polar team is responsive to customer questions, and always professional, plus peace of mind with there excellent warranty.

Polar Builders did an excellent job replacing the roof of our home and our separate tool shed. Their salesmen were always courteous during meetings and their services were delivered as promised. The men who came to replace the roofs worked very hard (in spite of the cold weather) and very well as a team. When we found that we had a crack inside the house on one wall and the adjoining ceiling after heavy pounding to build the new roof, Polar Builders sent two painters to repair the inside crack which was most appreciated by us. It was not entirely their responsibility to do this, but they chose to do it anyway. I highly recommend this company. When given a choice, they "do the right thing" which is a sign of a business with integrity.

Responsive and professional service and work! The provided guidance in the selection of replacement shingles. All materials were delivered and on-hand when the installation crew arrived. The new roof was installed and all cleanup completed within the day. The left NO nails in the yard, drive, or street.

Adam from Polar Builders knocked on my door a few months ago asking if he could inspect my roof for hail damage. Needless to say I was hesitant about a guying knocking on my door from a roofing company. He found damage ad contacted my insurance company. Adam handled everything from coordinating with the adjustor to communicating with the insurance company. After getting approved by the insurance company, Adam scheduled us for 6 weeks out because Polar builders already had a backlog of jobs. He kept in regular contact via text messages so I never had to call him for an update. The dumpster and material arrived when he said they would. The crew showed up when he said they would and they finished the entire job in 1 day. They left the job site spotless. In my experience it is unusual to see this level of professionalism and communication in the contractor industry. My experience with Polar builders far exceeded my expectations.

Roofing done on time and was very quick. The workers were here from 7 AM to 7 PM and completed a very large roof with many valleys in less than 2 days. Contact person John Vail was very professional and was easy to keep in touch with. He monitored the job while it was being done. Office management provided invoice information on materials used per my request. Final invoice to insurance company is still to be determined. Polar said that they would handle this.

Planning and scheduling was horrible. Multiple times was told a crew would show up to do work and no one showed. Text and called and the Polar Sales person was awesome and the only person who genuinely seemed to care that I was happy. Their sales person Is the only reason they received a C score overall. They do quality work, but I had to get the insurance payment for damages picked through, push to get work done, push repeatedly to get work done in a timely manner. The large projects like gutters and roof was quality work, but they forgot to sweeps nails from the driveway. Smaller projects needs critical oversight to be done correctly. Deck was not prepped before staining causing same day peeling. Put cracks in driveway causing driveway to need to be resealed. I will say if you are willing to point out quality issues Polar/sales was very good about removing costs associated with sub-par work which also was refreshing. Quality required a constant pushing.

Scott from Polar Builders knocked on my door following a recent hailstorm. I told him that I was planning to replace my roof this year regardless of whether or not my insurance would pay, but that I wouldn't hire him until I checked out Angie's List. He climbed up and said there was damage. I called him back after checking Angie's List, and he came back out the next day. He helped me file the insurance claim and came out when the adjustor was there. The insurance approved it, and within a week I had a new roof. They were there exactly when they said they would be, and did exactly the work they said they would do.

We had storm damaged to the roof. Polar was great to help us get estimates for the works and also filed insurance on our behalf. We had minimum that we need to do ourselves.
