We use Star-Seal asphalt emulsion pavement sealer. This sealant is for those asphalt surfaces that demand outstanding performance and appearance year after year. Star-Seal Asphalt Emulsion sealer has an extraordinary degree of toughness and water repellency unmatched by any competitive sealer. The hot blending of catalyzed rubber and select polymers with the refined coal tar in Star-Seal Asphalt Emulsion greatly enhances its tough- ness, flexibility at all temperatures, and resistance to gasoline, oil, chemicals, and de-icing salts. The water repellency of Star-Seal Asphalt Emulsion is the results of a very special blend of surface active agents which change the surface chemistry of the clays and make them hydrophobic. The combination of state of the art technology in manufacturing and raw material selection translates into the following. Services we provide include; power edging grass (NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE the other guys charge additional for this service), we clean pavement of all dirt, dust & debris, we repair cracks and joints between top and bottom apron with one of a kind Star Seal crack filler (NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE the other guys charge additional for this service), we prime and treat all oil spots we hand brush for a smooth & better coverage (only spray big driveways and commercial parking lots). We are dedicated to superior customer service we are locally owned and operated, we are member of Better Business Bureau (BBB) rated A in customer service (only a hand full are members, most of the companies out there are not member and will not qualify due to poor customer service). Upon completion we will barricade the driveways with custom Minta Driveways yellow Banner Tape with our number on it to prevent people from walking / driving on the driveway for the 48 hr cure time. I am very pleased with the job that Minta Driveway Services did for us. Tony is an excellent communicator and kept us informed and updated from first contact (estimate) until the job was completed (follow-up/thank-you call hours after the crew completed the job).
The crew of two showed up when expected and was courteous and hard working. They completed the job in less than an hour.
I was extremely pleased with the following:
- -The crew was VERY careful in applying the sealcoating only to the asphalt. There was no dripping or seeping on to the garage apron, sidewalk or lawn.
- -The price was very fair and Tony's estimate was firm. I liked that filling the cracks was part of the overall price and not an add-on.
- -Edging the driveway was a definite value-add!
