Glidden Limousine

We booked Glidden Limousine for our wedding on 6/20/2020. Due to COVID-19, we had to make the very difficult decision to change our wedding plans. Keith was very responsive and nice before we booked and paid in full for our limo services back in December of 2019. However, when we contacted him and politely explained that we had to change our wedding plans, he never responded. I sent him two more emails with no response, then ended up calling him. He said he would only give us 50% of our money back. I've tried emailing and calling the company several times since and have heard absolutely nothing in response. Please do not book this company, they are not honorable people to work with and do not do the right thing. Especially now in COVID times, you want the security of knowing you are working with businesses that will do the right thing and work with you. All of our other vendors were totally awesome, and I have a friend who's limousine company was wonderful when they needed to adjust plans. I will be sending my family, friends and co-workers to that other limo company.

I don't know if I can put into words the kind of euphoria this limo ride created for my son and his friends on his birthday.  Let me explain why I'm a happy mom, first:
I HAD to schedule my son's seventh birthday (second graders) for a Friday night due to impossible weekend obligations for him and all of his friends.  But asking parents to pick up their kids at 3:00 and get them to a birthday party on a work day is too much to ask.  Glidden had a nice coupon for 50% off an all-inclusive package on Friday nights (even tip), and after finding them on Angie's List it seemed like they would be the perfect company to use.  I only needed a limo for about 1.5 hours, and they didn't give me a hard time about the time itself.  They also gave us a nice upgrade (to a SUV limo) per their recommendation after hearing about our party.
They were extremely thorough in helping figure out our itinerary (which was picking me up, going to the school, coming back to pick up more kids, and then going to the party), and they included that itinerary on the invoice.  Additionally, our kind driver, Yentz, knew exactly where to go, how to get there, and how to kill time to get to each place in case we were early. 
The limo was beautifully clean, and was stocked with ice.  I asked ahead of time if I could bring bottles of water for the kids, and they enjoyed that.  Yentz also told me how to hook up my iPhone so we could have my son's playlist going (the kids loved that, too). 
Even though tip was included, I added a bit more for Yentz because the cacophony of sound from the 7/8 year olds on board was unreal.  Yentz drove at a very nice, safe pace and I felt totally comfortable with the kids who typically are required to be in booster seats to be loose in this incredible vehicle.  We didn't try out the TV, but the interior was just great and really made the kids feel like rock stars.  Some of them just wanted to watch out the front window as Yentz drove, some looked out the other windows, and some were singing and silly.  They will never, ever forget it.  I'll absolutely use Glidden again for a party or anything fun that comes up.

We left Minneapolis on December 28th, 2013,  to celebrate New Years in Jamaica.  Instead of taking a cab to and from MSP or parking at the airport for a week, we decided to check into private transfers.  I called numerous Limousine services for information on options available to us as well as quotes.  Fortunately, I called Glidden! 
Keith (the owner) called me back within moments to introduce himself and Glidden to me, inquire about our needs, then explain what services and options they could provide.  Since Glidden offers "private transportation", Keith suggested they could bring Champagne flutes in the event we wanted to start our vacation in style with Mimosa's!  What a FABULOUS idea and a detail I hadn't thought of!  Keith provided a verbal quote for  round trip Town Car transportation from our home in Minnetonka, giving us a 10% discount for being an Angies List member.  Keith also explained that they provide a "wake up" call 30 minutes prior to their arrival, to let us know they were on their way.  What a wonderful touch!  To have our minds put at ease at 6:30 am. that we would not be left scrambling for transportation to the airport at the last minute was very much appreciated.  He then promptly followed up with a professional, detailed, written quote for my review, which I accepted, and provided Keith with our Credit Card information.
On the 28th, we recieved our "wake up call" promptly at 6:30 am from Jens - our Chauffeur - letting us know he was on his way.  Jens arrived at 7:00 as we requested.  Much to our VERY pleasant surprise, Jens pulled up to our door in a white limousine.  Fortunately for us, Jens had been driving all night in this limousine, so we were "forced" to make our ride to the airport in his clean, beautiful car.  We knew then that we were starting our vacation in style and happy to start our morning out with the Champagne we brought. Jens was very friendly and extremely professional, and gave us a smooth, relaxing tour of Minneapolis to allow us time to see the city one last time while sipping Champagne before we arrived in plenty of time to make our 9:45 am flight.
Upon our arrival home on January 4th, Mark - our Chauffeur - had left us a message that he was waiting for us at the airport.  He patiently waited for us as we went through a lengthy immigration line and met us in a clean, beautiful Town Car.  Once again, we had a safe, relaxing ride with another friendly, professional driver.  From start to finish, Glidden provided us with exceptional service and will become our new form of transportaion whenever we take a vacation, or plan a special event where we want to drive in style.
We HIGHLY recommend Glidden to anyone looking for private transportation to any event.  The cost was only slightly more than taking a cab, much less expensive and much WARMER than driving and parking at the airport in the winter.  We were able to  start and end our vacation in complete relaxation.

I had a good experience. We had early flight, so they were here at 4 AM to pick us up and we had quite a bit of luggage and the driver got us to the airport in a timely manner but he was new to the area so he did get lost getting to our house which was not a big deal because we gave ourselves enough time and he was very apologetic. He was a nice guy and I wouldn't hold that against him just because of the difficulties in finding our house. He was very accommodating and helped us out when we got to the airport. We paid for a town car and they gave us a stretched limousine to pick us up in. On our flight in he texted our phone when our plane landed, so he was already there and waiting. So, it was ideal. The cars were clean. The guys were dressed to the teeth. It was topnotch.

I paid for the more expensive option allowing our group to "bar hop" after the concert.  We were not picked up until 1:30am leaving us no time to "bar hop".  I shared my disappointment with Scott.  He offered to provide 50% of my money back or 100% of the fee towards another trip.  I thought I would try them and again so I opted for the full credit towards another trip.  The next trip was a disaster.  A party bus showed up with cloth upholstery (stained) and a complete disaster.  I ended up hiring a different limo company  pick us up during the evening.  I would not use Glidden Limousine and I suggest you don't either.

All went very well.  They picked up 16 girls on time and drove them around to local parks, etc to take pictures.  The driver was very flexible in accommodating the girls' requests and they also said she was very nice and fun! The limo was beautiful and comfortable.

When I first requested a quote it was more than what I could
afford I was able to work with them and as an Angie's list customer get a
discount and was feeling very happy about the choice to use Glidden.
I was then called again and asked if we could be picked up at 11:30 at night
instead of our requested 11 pm pick up time. If so I could get a complimentary
upgrade. I said that would not work as the people that run the reception center
would not likely appreciate it if they had to wait an extra half an hour for us
to get a ride, since the expectation is that the reception is over at 11pm.
When they arrived we were all impressed with our driver Jens(sp?) and the limo.
He arrived on time calling ahead to let us know he was coming. He made all the
expected stops and was very accommodating to our requests and questions. He was
our driver for 3 legs of the trip.
The final pickup and drop-off really ruined the ending of a great day. We were
waiting outside and this small limo pulled up. I was told it could hold 6-8
people and another one was on the way to pick up the rest of the group. It
would be there in less than 10 minutes just leaving the office/station
whatever. We sent the rest of our wedding party home first that needed to be
dropped off at the second pickup spot. That driver Jim gave us his number in
case we needed him.
We waited and waited. I had 3 children and 4 adults still left waiting outside
by this time as it was around 11:10 or so and the event owners had packed up
and left us since we told them our limo was coming- confirmed by Jim the driver
of the first limo. Our children were very sleepy and sat on the curb in their
nice white wedding clothes waiting... Finally around 11:30 I called Jim and he
told me he would be there in around 10 minutes that there was some mix up he
would explain when he got there. Once he arrived he said that Scott the owner
would call us on Monday to explain- that is two days later since this was
Saturday night. Jim was also kind and courteous and we have no complaints about
either driver. 
I feel like I can't ask for a refund they came down on the price because we are
an Angie's list customer. But I sure can write a bad review on Angies list.
Besides it is now Thursday, five days after the fiasco and I still have not heard
from Scott or any other person from Glidden limo...
I rated Price, Quality both A's because the price was right and the quality of
the limo's were great.
Responsiveness was a C because it all depends on what you are defining as
responsiveness.
I rated Professionalism and Punctuality as F's because of the 11pm expectation
was definitely not met and the Professionalism of the company in general with
following through with talking to us after the problem occurred failed
miserably. We expected a call and possibly some form of compensation.
On the other hand if I was just rating the drivers they would get A's for all
categories. It seems like ownership and coordination were the problem.
We have many friends that say that there probably never was a second limo and
also we reserved a specific limo for specific hours and since that was not
available with no explanation I can only assume that they double booked that
limo to make back the monetary break they gave us as an Angie's list customer
which is no break at all in the long run.
We would not use them again and will also make sure that anyone that asks or
doesn't ask also knows that this is not the limo company to use if you want
something you can count on.

****Update I was contacted by Scott and he extended a credit to us and also offered to let us have a complimentary ride another time when we wanted it. We did try to use the complimentary ride during the holiday season to be brought to Minneapolis to a play, but it would have cost us additional money because it was only so much of a complimentary ride and their holiday rates were higher. We weren't going to pay extra for the complimentary ride so decided not to use them. Scott was not available during that time I believe it was Chris that worked with us. Not sure if Scott would have been available if we woudl have actually gotten a complimentary ride. We did not realize their were stipulations on when we could use it when Scott offered it.

It went well. The kids were late getting to limo so we were charged extra which is understandable. It seemed like maybe limo was a tad smaller than we thought

I used Glidden Limousine last weekend for two nights July 26th & July 27th and received service that was above and beyond what I had expected.  I held a girl's weekend for my sorority sisters and none of them had been to Minneapolis before.  When I called and inquired about their services Keith, the owner, suggested that I add a tour of the Lake of the Isles on to my transportation request to Stella's.  My sorority sister's and I loved the tour and had the best time.
They also upgraded our Limo the second night to a larger limo than I had requested and that was a wonderful surprise!  The drivers both nights were excellent, on-time and very accommodating to my group.  I will definitely use Glidden Limousine again in the future.  I really appreciate everything they did for us!
Absolutely excellent customer service from start to finish!

I wanted to have a creative conversation with Glidden Limousine to make the surprise. We made some adjustments to the route late. They were flexible. They're very responsive. I would use them again in the future.

Glidden Limo provided a great experience for my bachelor party.  Scott (Operations Manager) was a great resource as he was very helpful and accommodating with the setting up of the reservation (as I found out, many limo companies have poor communication and customer service skills).  Our driver (John) always made sure we knew where he'd be and gave us suggested times to get moving in order to get to our next destination.  All the guys had a great time.  
I would highly recommend using Glidden.

Everything went according to plan.  They were very prompt, and very nice.  They took care of our luggage (and there was a lot of it, we were traveling for 3 weeks)

I highly recommend Glidden Limousine, they were an absolute pleasure to work with.  They have a great fleet of vehicle options, I received a quick response to my quote inquiry, they offered a competitive rate inclusive of gratuity and fees, and answered all of my questions promptly.  They sent an invoice immediately that was clear and thorough.  Day of, the vehicle was in excellent condition, clean and well stocked.  Our driver, Jonathan, was fantastic - courteous and professional.  He called an hour prior to our start time to confirm he would arrive 15 minutes early so we may load the limo and he arrived when he said he would.  We had an unusual route and group and Jonathan was wonderfully accommodating.  If you are looking for five star service choose Glidden, you will be more than satisfied.

Jim our driver was early and called to let me know he was in the neighborhood and to let him know when we were ready to be picked up, this worked out great because my wife had no idea what i had planned. I text-ed Jim and he rolled up just as I had my wife by her car and said, how about we take this... Priceless and Speechless. Jim was very polite and responsive to us. On the way to Chanhassen i somehow broke a glass when moving some things around, and it was no big deal and Jim made sure to put us at ease not to worry about it. Fallowing the dinner and show I text-ed Jim again to let him know we where headed out, and he was already waiting with the door open, very dramatic, and my wife loved it..
The limo was very neat, clean, and well maintained. Wasn't brand new, but sure looked like it. Glidden also was easy to quote, get booked and followed up with me to assure great service. I will not look anywhere else for car service, the price was more than reasonable and received great service. Also our driver Jim was fantastic and will request in the future.

They did a fine job. They were punctual and the limousines were clean. The driver was nice and they did a good job overall.

The service was good. It seemed like a pretty fair rate and the driver was polite.

The service was well worth it. They were on time and very courteous. The limousine was very clean and up to date. They did a great job surprising my wife and son. I would use them again in the future.

The service was horrendous. We were picked up okay and the guy was nice. When he picked us up he had to go get gas. He also seemed like he was pretty tired. He dropped us off for a part for two hours. He ended up being late dropping off the rest of the girls. On the way home, we were pulled over by the Sheriff’s Department. We ended up having to have the girl’s parents on the side of the road. I never heard back from the company. I never got an apology or got half of the cost I had paid up-front.
