The scheduling and installation went ok. They came out at about the time we expected them and the quality of work was ok. However, they did not give us a follow up call. Over a week after the work was done, I went back into the store and asked about getting some money off of my bid since they didn't have to do everything that they bid on. The guy that helped me wasn't the same person that bid the job for me, but he said the person who did bid the job was supposed to call me within a week of completing the job. He even stated part of their pay structure was based on simply making a follow up call. Needless to say, the lack of follow up call caused me to make a trip into the store that I probably wouldn't have had to.

Jeff arrived on time all three days and completed the job on schedule. We found some minor problems and called Jeff on a Saturday morning at 9:30. He said he would take care of the problems and apologized that he would not be able to come over until noon that same day. Imagine that! He arrived before noon and fixed all of the problems to our satisfaction. It was some of the most courteous, prompt, and professional service we have ever received. It has been over two years since the installation took place and it still looks great. We are going to have these guys do the floors in our kitchen next and then the master bath.

They sell tiles and carpets. We had a very bad experience with them. We had a guy from Floor Center install and redo all the hardwood floors upstairs. He didn?t glue the tiles properly and lied to us about it. Later on, we had all of our new furniture delivered which included every big item and then we found out that the floor had to be completely redone once again. It was only a week away when the whole family was supposed to converge from all over the country for Thanksgiving. Floor Center fired him, as he was on a contract with them to have the carpets and other things installed. Even though he is no longer working there, we don?t really recommend them to other people. That?s because of the way their corporate office treated us during the whole deal of having the floors installed incorrectly. They didn?t even inform us as to what they are going to cover for us and what they weren?t. Since, they were the ones who hired that guy, they were responsible for the work that he did. They have offices at different places in the metro area, but we were working with the one in Maple Grove. We contacted the manufacturer of wood and talked to them about the proper installation method. The installation method was on the boxes and was mentioned in the print outs. The price that they charged was average. I will not use their services again in the future.

I really like the store, and they had the exact product that I really wanted. I was pleased with the layout in the store, and how easy it was to find what I needed. The sales rep was very helpful. I paid the deposit June 8th to hold the materials, and the next step was to find a date for the installation. Scheduling was a bit frustrating, but we did finally agree to a date. The installers arrived at my home at 8am, and were gone within 10 minutes. They ripped up the quarter round in my kitchen, as they should have, and then they plopped their tools on a brand new countertop, which could have caused damage. The other guy plopped his toolbox on my new hardwood floor as well, which I didn't appreciate. They were very unprofessional and discourteous, also did not have good communication with myself or with the store, and they weren't respectful, so they left. They have been very difficult to deal with, and have not been willing to completely refund my installation costs.

The Floor Center has many styles of carpeting (and flooring) and many price ranges. Chris was able to lead us to the carpet that would be best for US not what would be best for him! It was a VERY pleasant experience.
