Designed Glass Inc

So far, we have used Designed Glass for custom shower doors, stylish bathroom mirrors, and glass surfaces for tabletops in both houses we've owned in the south metro.  Their products aren't cheap, but the quality of materials and workmanship is excellent, everything is made exactly to your specifications, and professional installation is included.

The custom shower doors have been particularly great- my wife and I are both rather tall, so we had them make the doors tall enough to walk though without ducking.  Since everything is custom cut, the width of the doors is perfect as well, with just the right overlap--impossible to make happen with junky builder-grade doors and kits sold at places like Home Depot.  For something like this that you will literally use EVERY DAY, it's money well-spent.

They did what we needed to get done. They did a fine job. Their communication was probably 50%. They weren't too hard on communication. They didn't provide the right information right off the bad. Besides that, the workmanship and everything was just fine. The price was pretty good. I was okay with that.

We were pleased with the level of professionalism every step of the way and our glass door looks great in our bathroom!

We love our new shower door! Our contractor, Dutch Creek Contracting, referred us to Designed Glass. The estimator, office staff and installers were all knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The quality exceeded our expectations and the price was less than we thought it would be. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

We recently had our lower level shower re-tiled and the old shower door had to be removed. We were referred to Designed Glass by our tile installer. We visited the Designed Glass showroom in Burnsville and selected a door. They came out later that day and measured. The door arrived in their showroom a week later, as we were told, but when they said they would not be able to install until the following week, we explained that we needed it done sooner. They called us back later that day and arranged for it to be installed the next day. We are extremely pleased with the door and the way they were able to accomodate our needs. We intend to use Designed Glass again next spring when we plan to remodel our upper level bathroom.

Meredith was quick to try to find out how to help us out on such short notice and gave us a quote on the temporary piece to be ready for the very next day. They then called back after I had dropped off what was left of the piece that broke so they could match the beveling and tint of the original piece. They were very helpful and quick to realize that we really wanted something ready for our dinner party.

This job required two visits, the first to measure, the second to install. The shower was measured the same time we received a quote for the job and details of how this company worked. We picked them because of the quotes we received, this company did not require us to go without the shower doors and walls during the construction of the new shower--a 2-3 week process. The installation took about 1-1/2 hours including clean-up and they hauled away the old shower door too. We were very happy with the service we received from this company and the new shower looks beautiful.
