Chimney Doctors

Ryan came out for a cleaning and inspection and didn't know what he was getting into dealing with an engineer for an owner. He rose to the challenge, answered all my detailed questions, performed the said work, and ran down a range of options for repair. I anticipate contracting with this company just on the basis of Ryan's great work and rapport.

In a word, fantastic. We will be replacing our wood burning fireplace with a gas one, and needed a cleaning beforehand. Kelly and Lindsay bent over backwards to get the cleaning scheduled by the installation date. Zach, the technician, arrived today and did his magic. The job was done quickly, and he left the place spotless. We'd definitely use them again.

It took multiple calls and followup by me to get the job done. Quality of work was excellent and price seemed fair.

The cleaning was fast and thorough. The inspection was very detailed and eye-opening. Much more money than we expected the repair quote to be, so we have placed our repair on hold for now.

Very well. Steve showed up on time, while the regular home inspection was taking place. Steve inspected 3 chimney flues (2 fireplaces plus the furnace exhaust flue), and the outside of the chimney above the roofline. The inspection turned up several serious defects that might have cost me $15,000 to repair. Chimney Doctors provided me with a detailed report, including photos of the defects, and estimates to repair them, which I was able to use in negotiating with the sellers.

Excellent service, completed in a few hours, reasonable price. Service person advised us on which covers to use and how best to install. Would definitely recommend.

They did a really good job. They were prompt, professional, and the office staff was great too. They were wonderful about cleaning up. We did have a freak rainstorm and water leaked into my house, and I would have appreciated them being a bit more aware of the weather. It wasn't a lot of damage, and I was able to clean it up without it becoming a big deal. When the work was done, I didn't get a walk through or photos of the finished product. I have had inspectors come and look over everything, and it all turned out just fine. Overall, they did great, and were great to work with.

The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He informed us of what needed to be done and only did what was necessary and gave us steps for saving money in the future. The chimney doctors will be my go to chimney people for the rest of the time in my home

I had Chimney Doctors out to inspect my chimney.  Steve was very thorough in his assessment.  Unfortunately, my chimney had sustained a fire.  I had a very large wood insert which needed to be removed before the chimney could be repaired.  The insert weighed about 300 lbs.  Mike and James did a fine job of removing it without damaging anything.  Chimney Doctors does quality brick/chimney work in a timely manner.  Thank you, Steve, Mike and James!

The inspector was professional and provided excellent feedback on the original construction, quality of materials and the current condition.  He came in with drop cloths and did the visual inspection.   He setup his equipment and completed the video work.  After reviewing the video recordings, he provided his analysis.  As it turned out, the fireplaces and chimney stack were in excellent condition and built very well.  No repair issues or concerns to discuss.  He was very knowledgeable about fireplaces and related topics.  No cleaning was required.  He left no evidence of his visit (debris or smudges).  This home was a recent purchase and we needed to know if the fireplaces are safe to use.

I had Air Pro to my house in the fall to sweep and inspect my chimneys, and was impressed with their timeliness, professionalism and price.  I have allergies to cats, dogs, dust and dust mites.  I'd just moved into my new house house, and my allergies started bothering my the first night I slept here. I knew the previous owners had long-haired pets, so I asked the Air Pro guys to look into my air ducts.  Using a mirror and flashlight, they showed me what the inside of one of the ducts looked like and it was, frankly, disgusting - completely caked all around with hair and dust and other debris.
I'd heard that air duct cleaning was a scam at worst, and unnecessary at best, so I didn't commit to doing anything at the time.  But the constant allergy problems, 3 colds in 2 months, and plain old common sense won over in the end.  I figured that if I wasn't getting bombarded with the allergens in my ducts, at the very least I was probably going through furnace filters at an unreasonable rate.  I had AirPro out to clean the ducts.  Again, they were timely and professional and had the job done in a few hours.
Perhaps it is a coincidence (although I don't believe that), but I haven't gotten a cold since, and my allergies bother me much less than they did before I had the duct cleaning work done.  I'm very glad I had Air Pro out to do the work, and I'd recommend them to anyone.
