The downsizing was done in a very efficient process. I felt the cost was OK.
The estate sale was held during a bad ice storm. I was pleased to learn that over 300 people did come to the sale. This showed me that this provider has a large following.
I felt that the cost was somewhat high, but they did get rid of an extensive amount of items in two days. The sale was actually held before my house was listed for sale. There were various items that I did not want sold because I planned to move them when I sold the house. I seemed to have to keep looking over all of the sale items to make sure that nothing that I wanted to keep was on the sale. I fold the provider after the sale that I believe they were used to working with people that literally just wanted to get rid of everything.
The provider did take some more expensive items that had not sold and worked to get a good price for them. I was pleased with how this part of the sale was handled.
Shelly and her crew were quick and efficient at organizing in preparation for the estate sale. We ended up with many more items than we first anticipated, but her team had no problem sorting through it all. Items were priced fairly and the team took care in displaying items and providing buyers with information (such as furniture dimensions). She also worked with the city and the townhome association in advance to determine how to work out the parking due to limited parking spaces and narrow streets.
After the conclusion of the estate sale, Shelly continued to work for us by trying to sell some of the unsold items through other channels. Caring Transitions of Burnsville helped us take an overwhelming task through to completion within a matter of a few weeks.
