APPLE VALLEY LOCK & SAFE

Called and the guy said he would be out in 1/2 hour. He showed up an 1 hour later. The job took 15 minutes and he charged us $65 for a service call and $45 for labor. He than charged us $125 for a part that sells on internet for around $30-50. When he was done, he said that he only takes cash. I informed him that I only pay w/ check or credit card. He than wanted me to write the check out directly to him and I told him I needed to write it out to a business name. He than reluctantly accepted a credit card payment. Overall I felt ripped off. Next time I will ask about rates. The number I called to set up appointment was 952-892-5397 which is listed as Apple Valley Burnsville Lock and Safe. The guy that came out called from 612-232-0822 which is listed on internet as Speedy Locksmith. The invoice says A1 Affordable so it must go by a number of different names or they use independent contractors.
