I was referred to Marktag from my neighbors (our previous go-to repairman had retired). We will use Marktag from now on. Mark, the owner, was able to perform diagnostic the day after I called, and a week later (when the part arrived) he was prompt to repair. Mark is also a great conversationalist and straight shooter. Definitely would recommend and plan to have Marktag be our new go-to appliance repair service.

Mark called and came about 1/2 hour early! He looked over the washer and knew right away what the problem was. He fixed it in 1/2 hour and it's perfect, just like new. This is my 5th time using Marktag and will definitely use again when needed. Thanks, Mark!

Very well. Quick fix

Repair was too expensive to do, but they made it easy to find out. I called many repair companies where all I could do was leave a message, not knowing right away when they could come. Affordable Marktag actually had someone answering the phone and I knew right away that someone could come the next day. Repair man arrived right on time and knew after about 15 minutes that it would cost well over $300 to replace the motor. Some places wanted over $100 just to come out for a look, I was charged much less than that. They will be my go-to appliance repair company from now on.

Mark fixed the leak (clogged drain plug), defrosted the ice in the bottom of the freezer and cleaned off the coils underneath the fridge. He also checked behind and underneath for any other leaks. He had me turn the water supply back on and again checked for any leaks. He was very thorough!

Mark is very professional and his charges are very reasonable.

Mark came out within an hour to replace the override sensor on our refrigerator. He noted the thermostat may also need replacing and provided information as to short term fix if that needed repair. We called him back 3 days later (on a Saturday) to request thermostat repair. He ordered the part, returned the following Tuesday to fix it. He's a great person, very professional, very reasonably priced. His service fees and parts charges are very, very affordable. I would recommend him to anyone, any day. 5 STARS !!!!!

It went great. He gave us an estimate on how much longer the refrigerator may last, his recommended brands, and how much to sell it for should we try to sell it. We live in a condo so refrigerators that will fit into our space are rarely in showrooms, or the selection is poor, so just getting a new one wasn't a quick and easy thing.

Mark came out and determined that my electric panel in the dishwasher wasn't working properly. He ordered a new one and came out about a week later to replace it. About a week after that, it stopped working. He came out (for free - part of the warranty) and was able to determine that there was a problem with the electricity the dishwasher was receiving (which probably fried my old unit). He wasn't able to diagnose that problem (needed an electrician) but was able to give me enough information to give the electrician. Once that problem got straightened out, the dishwasher has worked fine. He stands by his work, which is great. Most of the cost was the electric panel - not his labor. The labor portion is extremely reasonable.

Not a typical experience. I had done as much troubleshooting as I could handle referencing online and the manual. Mark advised on what the issue might be, electronic control unit. I dug in further based on his description and was able to confirm that was the issue. Picked up the part from his shop and was able to install it myself. Very helpful.

He was okay I guess. Replaced the dishwasher because it wasn't getting our dishes clean.

Not only did he fix two of our appliances in one visit for a great price, but he did his best to try to walk us through a DIY solution first to try to save us money. The last time our dishwasher broke, it cost twice as much. We won't make the same mistake again; we're calling this guy.

Fantastic!  Mark was friendly, punctual, even greeted my dog!  I am very pleased to have a fully functioning microwave again!  I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know.  My appointment was at 6:00 on a Friday night, and there was no extra charge!  This is truly service at its finest!!

Called Marktag and talked to Paul. He diagnosed over the phone and we made an appt on a Friday night last stop on his way home. He was punctual (hence the name on his shirt- Punctual Paul), took the dryer apart and found that his diagnoses over the phone was correct. However, there was also a bad fuse, which he didn't have. He ordered it and came back Saturday night and put everything back together. Dryer fixed! Very reasonable price for a two visit service.

Repairman can on time.  He worked to determining the problem and replaced the defrost timer.  He put up with my barking dog and even had dog treats for her.  Explained what he was doing as he went along and finished the job in less than 2 hours.   I will use this firm again if needed.  

Great.  He had a set time but called to see if he could come earlier.  He had a dog treat for my dog right at the door.  He was professional but yet fun to talk to.  He had an idea of what was wrong with my washing machine when talking on the phone to make the appointment so brought along a part thought he needed (and did need).  So he was prepared.  He seemed to take all the time he needed to fix the problems but not too long.  Everything went well and I was so happy to have both appliances up and working after $160 rather than going to buy two need appliances.  Sometimes it hard to pay a service fee to just come out and say it is broke but over time the service fees and the repair cost probably are way lower than going and buying a new appliance because you don't want to pay a service fee.  Yes, this went through my head but so glad I had Mark come out.  Thanks Mark.
