In 2020 they installed a new panel to replace our fusebox. Immediately we started getting arc fault breaker trips 3-5 times a day. They said to expect some arc faults because that's just how things are these days. A year later I called our home warranty to try and fix it. They sent AJ Moore! The electrician this time said the brand of arc fault breakers used in the panel were prone to be super sensitive and that AJ Moore doesn't use them anymore. So the company taht did the work is telling me they used subpar parts. Finally got a REAL electrician in and they said part of the problem is there's a nick in the hot line to one of the breakers. EXPOSED WIRING! So they did shoddy work, told us that was the norm, admitted it WASN'T the norm a year later... it's the most money I've ever paid for the crappiest job.

The electrician showed up within the 4 hour window we were given. We were not home, but our window contractor showed him the issue. The electrician wouldn't engage with our contractor nor look at the photos the contractor had taken. He spent less than 5 minutes in our house and left, we didn't have an opportunity to even speak with him. Our contractor asked him to leave his card or contact information, he refused. He told our contractor this was not a warranty issue. I called AJ Moore the next day and left a voicemail that was not returned. We got a call the following day from our warranty service saying the report from the electrician stated not a warranty claim. I'm confused why the electrician gets to decide that when he doesn't know what my warranty contract is. I'm also confused why he doesn't need to provide details of the issue. This 5 minutes cost me $75 for someone who was obviously not interested in getting our business. Very poor customer service! A quote for the work was never given to us, another sign that this type of work is not of interest to this company. I realize this is a small job, but they closed the door on all future work from us. No actual work was performed and we will be paying out of pocket for the electrical work we need done. Very disappointed.

The guy who came to perform the work was very nice and professional. He walked me through exactly what he was going to look at and what he was going to do to fix the issues. Because this visit was part of a home warranty service call, he could only repair the items allowed under that contract. He needed approval from the home warranty company to install a new ceiling fan, as that was not repairable. He also made note of several other items that I wanted repaired and said his office would email me an estimate for that work. I was completely satisfied with the job he did, which is why I asked him to provide the estimate on the other repairs. This service visit was the morning of Friday, 9/18.
On Friday, 9/25, I realized a week had passed and I'd not heard back from anyone at AJ Moore Electric. No email, no call, nothing. I called to follow up and was transferred to someone's voice mail. She had 'just stepped away from her desk' and I was told I'd receive a call back shortly. Apparently, she must have stepped quite far, because it took her until Monday the 28th to call me back. She left a voice message stating the home warranty wouldn't approve replacing the ceiling fan and that they (AJ Moore Electric) weren't providing estimates on work originating from a warranty service call. REALLY?? First of all, it took them over a week to tell me they couldn't provide an estimate. In that time, I could (and would) have found another electrician. Second, they won't provide an estimate? I guess they must be so busy that they can afford to turn away business. Well, good luck to them because not only will I NEVER use them again, but I won't be recommending them either.

The return call for scheduling the service took a few days after I left a voice message. After that, everything went very well. Wayne, the electrician, was on time and worked very fast to complete this job in order to get to his next appointment. This was a HSA insurance claim - so it only cost me the deductable. I don't know the total cost of the 3-1/2 hours of service. I felt the service I received was very professional and required a lot of electrical experience.

They scheduled a visit within a couple days of my call and did the work. I left a check with the new light and everything went fine.

Electrician came-out within a few days of my calling and setting appointment. He spent alot of time methodically working through my old door chime system and wiring to try and fix them. Turned-out it was far easier and cheaper to install a new doorbell system, which he did.
