I was very pleased with the concrete work that was done. FH Schmidt kept in contact with me to advise when they would be coming and always showed up on time. They kept me informed of any issues. The crew repaired some of the blocks on an existing garage foundation, poured the garage floor, sidewalks, and a slab in front of the garage. They did everything I asked and was nicely done. I also recieved many compliments on the concrete from other people. I would definitely hire them again.

I am extremely glad I hired F.H. Schmidt, Inc. to tear out my old sidewalks, patio and concrete/asphalt driveway and install all new concrete sidewalk, patio and driveway. Owners Dave and Doug Schmidt stopped out to provide a free inspection and took measurements and I had the estimate within a day. Dave was super friendly and knowledgeable and he explained in detail how they would design and complete my project. Their office manager, Lyn, was fantastic and made sure I was advised via email and phone calls exactly what was included in the final estimate and scheduled my project. From tear out to setting the forms to the final pour work, Zach and his crew were punctual, super hard working, answered all my questions and provided exceptional work every step of the project. If you want the very best concrete contractor, you need to hire F. H. Schmidt, Inc. Thanks again Dave and Doug for your high quality product and professional hard working crew!!

Concrete Patio Installation Service
I had a small job that most concrete contractors were not willing to do. They had a large job near my house and I was told they would fit me in when it wass convenient. I was not in a hurry so this worked well for both of us. They got the work done much more quickly than I was expecting and the job was done right.

Schmidt had done a great job for us a few years ago putting in a driveway in Rockford Mn. We moved to Shakopee and needed a new driveway at the new house. We actually paid about a $1,500 premium above other bids we had as this was a little out of their normal area. It was well worth it and as expected they did a great job, did it fast and on time. It looks great. The crew was very easy to work with. We couldn't be happier.

Concrete Patios, Walks & Steps Installation
I signed my contract with them at the end of March knowing they would get busy. They said it would be the first or second week in May. After 18 emails and several phone calls it was finally done in June after I almost had to beg them. If you have a small job dont hire them they will put you off as long as possible. They also left nails in my yard.

They were very responsive to bids and adherence to their scheduled estimates really stood out. I can't give them anything but great references. An unexpected storm created issues and they took care of the issues no questions asked.
