Bill is very nice and responsive.  Unfortunately, I had to have him come back to apply another coat of epoxy because the first application was uneven in spots.  This last application is also uneven.  I would not recommend him.

We had a bathtub/shower unit which had discoloration and bathtub bottom chips. We looked for a contractor from Angie's List, called three, of those listed, for an estimate. Decided to call back BathCrest and ask them to come to our home and give us an estimate while looking at the bathtub unit. I had heard it may need more than just prep and re-surfacing. Besides the re-surfacing, we agreed to get a new fill/drain fixture and something else (which I can't remember-can't find invoice/bill).  The technician needed to return a day after the re-surfacing to install the drain fixture.  A potential client needs to figure on two days before re-using the tub.

They did a great job.  They were here about two and a half hours.  They cleaned up and did a good job.  They answered all my questions.  I was happy with them and my mother-in-law was also happy with them.  They were on time and very professional.

The whole process went very smoothly, from the first contact by phone (friendly and helpful), to the estimate by Bill, to the work by Bill and Seth. They removed the old sliding glass doors and frame and filled the screw holes in the tile so well that it is impossible to tell that the doors were ever there--much better than I dared hope, given the condition of the old frame and how long it had been glued to the tub and tile. They reglazed the tub, which was in pretty rough shape, and now it is gleaming and looks great. They did the work on a hot and humid day, and they worked hard. At the end, Seth took the time to explain the proper way to clean and care for the new surface and answered all my questions.

About 15 years ago, we decided to reglaze the tub in our 1938 bathroom as an alternative to replacing the tub and retiling the surround. We hired Bathcrest at that time based on a recommendation in the paper and were pleased with the work. The glazing stayed beautiful for longer than the 5-year guarantee and the 10 year estimate, but in the last few years it became harder to clean and had chipped where we dropped things on it, so we called Bathcrest again. Because the first glazing had to be removed to prepare for the new coat, our work took somewhat longer andwas more expensive than the first time around, but much less than replacing the tub and surround. Bill Leonard did the work himself in less than 6 hours (with a break to help out at another site), cleaned up thoroughly, and explained the care clearly. The tub looks new, and from previous experience, we expect to be enjoying the results for at least 10 more years.

It went beautifully. The owners were very helpful in scheduling the appointment and giving us calls to remind us of their arrival. The workman who performed the work informed us on the repair process. He discussed and left written instructions for subsequent care of the tub. This company proved to be reliable,pleasant and professional.

My call was returned promptly, they came out in a few days for a free in home estimate and arrived exactly at the scheduled time. The work was scheduled for the next week. Arrived promptly, did a great job of explaining what was to be done. Was very respectful of the pets etc. that were in the home. The tub looks brand new, and the sink that another company had done about 8 years ago ( I think "permaglaze " was the name ) was still in good shape but had a few small chips so I had those repaired also. It also looks great. Explained exactly what I needed to do and not do for the first 48 hours, and how to maintain it in the long run. I dealt with all three individuals in the company and they were all really great to work with. I highly recommend them.

The response time was super. This company came the day after I called and then completed the work within just a few days from the estimate. My 1920's tub looks like new!

Their service professional arrived on-schedule and assessed the situation quickly. When he realized he could repair the damage, he did so right on the spot. Everything looks great.

Bathcrest refinished the tub about ten years ago. This finish would have lasted longer, but it was damaged in one spot by the carpenter on the project. That spot was not wearing well after ten years of touch ups, so I hired Bathcrest to resurface the tub again. The first time the tub was removed and refinished off site and this second time, it was done in my home. Much time was spent in preparation to spray-masking, drop cloths, fan in the window. The tub once again looks great.

CAN NOT TELL HOW WELL THIS WILL WEAR FOR A FEW YEARS.
