He showed up on time and did the work well. He was pretty slow and and he didn't clean up very good after he finished.

great experience, really nice, really punctual. There was an issue with one of the fixtures I had ordered and he spend extra care and time to make sure that it was done right. I will absolutely use him again!

Did not show up for the first appointment -- called several hours later to say there had been a family medical emergency. Was about 15 minutes late the next day. Completed all three tasks in less time than was covered by my deal. We talked about an additional project but he thought it would not be worth the cost and suggested I pick up a fixture on my own -- I appreciated that he was not talking me into spending money on him when it was not the best approach. Very pleasant and thorough. Will call him next time I need an electrician.

Tim contacted us to let us know that he was ahead of schedule and offered to come earlier, which worked for us. I showed him the outlets and the hood and he went to work. The work on the 2 outlets on the first floor went fairly quickly. The hood work was a little more difficult. At first Tim noted that the 2 sockets for the lights were bad and showed me the broken wiring. He went to purchase the parts and came back. He continued the work, but then he discovered that the switch was also bad. He had to return to the store for a switch. Tim noted that appliance work is not his specialty, but he was able to repair the hood for us. He was professional and efficient.

The work was fine - he did it promptly and everything worked fine when he was done. He did drill an extra hole from the basement into one bedroom, leaving a hote in the floor instead of in the baseboard for the outlet. He did point it out and apologized. After a minute he offered to reduce the price rate due to the damage, but when I looked at the bill, he had not reduced the bill.

Tim arrived on time and started work right away. He was pleasant and professional. Tim called later to see if I was satisfied with install. He has done previous work for me.

Tim did a fantastic job -- especially on my exterior outlet. We were unable to connect immediately due to his computer being out of service (it happens), so I ended up calling rather than corresponding via email. It didn't negatively affect the response time too much, as he responded almost immediately after receiving my voicemail. The thing that struck me immediately was how quickly he understood what I wanted despite my limited understanding of electrical work. He listened carefully and proposed ideas quickly, which made me feel really great about who I had hired. On the day of the job, he arrived very close to our agreed upon time and immediately got to work. The garage outlet was done in minutes. The exterior outlet, which proved to be a slight challenge due to the layout and age of our home, was done exactly within the two hour service window as part of the Big Deal agreement. The price was also far less than much of the competition, but the quality was equal if not superior. He really chose a good place for the outlet and made sure the part was right for being fairly close to my exterior water supply. I recommend Tim and Sparky Electric for the quality of work, speed, and price.

Very responsive...had to order a part and fix some wiring in one antique fixture...necessitated an extra trip....but work done well.....could have cleaned ups little better

I was impressed with his willingness to work around my schedule. He arrived when he said he would. Each repair has held up without any further problems. The only negative was that I thought the price was for two hours at my residence with no transit charges. It turned out I also had to pay for the transit time to and from the shop. ...but I'd use him again. He seems very competent.

I purchased a "deal" for 2 hours of electrical work for $99 after husband had issues installing a ceiling fan/light. Sparky made it worse. He went into the ceiling fishing for wires when the wires were already hanging down. Attempted to install the fixture but said it was the fixture that was broke. He installed a light bulb so that there would at least be a light in the room. When he left I didn't realize that there was no light in the bathroom, the closet, the hallway or the upstairs since it was a sunny day. He had cut into the line. Needless to say I was upset and hired a different electrician to come fix this botched job. My faith in sparky was gone. It took the 2nd electrician only about 15 minutes to fix the problem that this guy spent an hour and a half trying to fix. I got what I paid for and will not be purchasing any more "deals" again.

Tim was able to give an estimate, and agreed to purchase some of the materials to be reimbursed upon completion of the project. He was helpful in pointing out some areas that needed attention that I was unaware of . He was thorough in checking the outlets and electrical panel. He called several times to verify some questions he had. I would recommend getting everything down in writing with a copy for each party. He did forget his highest estimate for labor at the consultation, and the actual charged price was higher. He did good work and completed it in a timely manner.

Tom showed up on time and was very efficient completing everything in about two hours. There was only a minimal additional charge for parts. Very pleased with his work and professionalism.

We had two separate appointments set. The first was Friday at 9:00. At 9:30, I called and left a voicemail as he never showed up. He called back much later and said he had a cold. He called back again that day and we rescheduled for 2/13 at 1:00 p.m.. I asked if he was going to be late if he could call my husband and made sure he had the correct number. At 1:45, he called me instead of my husband and said he still wasn’t feeling well. We’ve decided to get a refund and my husband is doing the work.

I just closed on a home. It needed some electrical work. The kitchen did not have GFI outlets so those were installed. Some of the outlets in the home had polarities crossed so those were corrected. We also needed a outlet installed where there wasn't one. All services were performed quickly and accurately. Electrician was able to come out the day after we spoke on the phone. The price was a bargain. Very nice man.

He arrived on time set to work on replacing the circuit breaker in question, thinking that could likely be the problem. It turned out not to be the problem so next he began to look at the items on the circuit to locate where the short was at. He was lucky to find it on the second switch he looked at. He disconnected that switch so the rest of the things on that circuit could work. He showed me how circuits are set-up and what would need to be done next. He said he could not do it, because he was booked up for quite a while and did not have extra manpower that would be required for fishing new wires. He fixed my problem as much as was possible and told me what was needed and where the trouble was so I could get another company to come in and actually do the repairs. He seemed knowledgeable and was honest and up-front with me regarding my problem and that he was not able to resolve that for me.

A very positive experience. He called immediately and came on Sat. All new lights are working well, he took the lamps home to repair the switches and returned them with in a week.

I e-mailed Tim on a Saturday about scheduling an appointment, and he called me back the next day (on a Sunday!), and responded the following morning to complete the job - I certainly could not ask for anything more timely! This service is much different than some big brand corporate operations, but I was happy with the work. Tim was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. He managed to find a solution to some tricky basement wiring that previous electricians (doing other work in the home) said may require tearing out a lot of drywall between the bathroom and circuit box. During conversation I mentioned a problem we were having with some kitchen appliances routinely tripping a breaker, and he quickly made a few changes in the electrical panel to resolve the problem. The price of materials was pretty steep - $50 plus tax for a GFI outlet, the box that goes behind it, several feet of wire, a faceplate and the end caps used to tie this into an existing box. I don't really know what fair pricing is for electrical materials, and I think a total of $149 is fair for work done - I was completely satisfied with the service. One note - I have read a few reviews of people saying the wrong color outlet or switch was installed without their input, and Tim made a point to ask what color I preferred (even though this is in a partially finished basement bath that will need a lot of future work). Some reviews also complained about poor time management - I did not observe this at all. I was present during all the work and Tim worked quickly and efficiently.

I ended up not using them, but they were very responsive and helpful.

I purchased 2 hours of electrical work for $99 provided by Tim Willheim, Sparky Electric. We prearranged installation of track lighting in my kitchen and replacement of 4 wall outlets. Replacement of wall outlets were completed. After opening the track lighting kit I had purchased, Tim discovered that it was missing the part that provided the power source and we agreed he would return to use the remainder of my purchased time once Menards replaced this missing piece. The installation was completed in the allotted time on the return visit, but the track lighting did not work. After much frustration and many lengthy and numerous attempts from Tim which produced no results, we mutually agreed to discontinue further attempts and satisfied payment due with the two hour agreement purchased through Angies' List. I asked my son if he would help me decide how I should proceed from this point. He stopped by to take a look and discovered that the copper contact pins in both the power supply canopy and some of the track light heads had been bent, which prohibited any power delivery to the track and heads once the track was powered up. Also, three of the track light heads were installed backwards on the lighting rail which also prevented them from receiving power. The track lighting is now functional after the corrections were made with the contact pins and heads. This was a very bad experience for me. Thankfully Tim was agreeable to dismissing charges for the additional time he spent trying to get the lights to work. I would have been extremely upset if I had paid additional fees for the errors found by my son, who is not an electrician. I would not feel comfortable using Sparky Electric for future work.

Call twice prior to the day of service to make sure I still wanted the work done. Outlet and light switch both placed crocked, had to get new faceplate for outlet to cover circuit box after the outlet was replaced.

Was a little slow to schedule appt due to illness and I understand things happen that we have no control over. Once appt was made, came out the same day. Had a problem with one of the fixtures and he came out immediately to take care of it.

After the electrition left I noticed that the outer ring of the fixture was installed upside-down.

Tim Wilhelm said he would be by after finishing a job he had scheduled and would call giving us an extimated time of arrival. He did not call ahead. When he arrived, he took a look at the light fixture and the height he would have to hang it. He apologized and said he'd have to pass on the job since he didn't have the proper equipment to get up to the ceiling and he thought it should be a two person job. He was honest and we appreciated that fact so other than than him not notifying us ahead of time, we would use him for a simpler electrical project.

He was on time and the electrical work was done correctly. Not much into detail (did not ask which color outlets to bring to match plate, for example). Not super careful with tool box--scratched desk he placed box on. Interacted with me minimally, which was fine for me, but other may want more rapport with their contractor.

Very accomodating to our schedule and very prompt. He took the time to do things right and didn't rush. He spent more time on the job that the 2 hour coupn and didn't charge extra
