Description of Work: They replaced the meter box on the outside of the house after the whole mast had been ripped from the house. They did a great job. It looks so much better and very safe after having power down for a few days.

 + -1 moreThe staff at the office could not give me a price installing a ceiling fan but when 2 electricians arrived there was no problem telling me how much it would cost which i thought was way out of line. I had purchased a 99 dollar for 200 in electrical work they were going to charge me over $400.00 to install the ceiling fan even after the $200.00 credit from Angie's . I sent them on there way and the hit me with a 59 dollar TRIP CHARGE I got a refund from Angie's list and I feel that I also should get the 59 DOLLAR TRIP CHARGE REFUNDED will be sure and let everyone I KNOW AND ANYONE ELSE THAT WILL LISTEN ABOUT "RANDY'S ELECTRIC.I would be surprised if you put this review on your site. DOES IT REALLY TAKE 2 PEOPLE To put up a ceiling fan? When I put The one up alone & I am not a electrician Still waiting to hear back from Randy's electric service. I put the fan up myself

 + 0 moreHorrible horrible horrible. 1st off did not like being told, i was better off just getting the ceiling fans replaced, he kept pounding away on that idea...... I just wanted to know why there was no power to the fan light then replace the switch.... so all in all i spent $379 to install 2 wall switches that involved less then 15 minutes labor,, and that is after a $200 credit off from the angie list purchase!!! so had i not had angie list, randy's regular price to install 2 wall switches is $480. how is this even remotely reasonable and fair!!!!!
Description of Work: I had 2 wall switches installed to operate ceiling fans. 1st one in living room. Fan worked fine but lights did not. It was like pulling teeth to get him to just open up the fan housing to check wiring to find out why the lights on the fan did not work. He insisted on selling me the idea of just replacing the fan. These were not cheap $50 fans. please just can you check why the lights don't get power... i would but it will eat up all your angie list credit? he said (really?? i thought to myself) it was just some loose wiring that took him all but 90 seconds to diagnose. 2nd was replacing the wall switch. that took about 3-4 minutes, Wham, $259 !!!! then the bedroom ceiling fan wall switch. that took a whopping 3-4 minutes, 2 screws to take plate off, undo the wires, attach the new switch, attach the wires, ok it maybe took 5 minutes. he wanted another $199, are you kidding me!! he then knocked off $30. all in all i spend $280 to randys electric ( and that was after the angie list credit of $200 off) and $99 to angie to have 2 wall switches replaced. Then a $59 trip charge on top of that, WOW, What a rip off! now the wall switch in the second room did operate both fan and light and i saw the exact same switch at menards for $25, but the living room switch was just a standard light switch, maybe $6..... never ever will use randy electric again... i felt very much taken advantage off

 + -1 moreLousy. $99 for $200 Angie's add is VERY deceiving. I know Contractor work isn't cheap, but the final estimate for less than 3 hours work was $1200.00. I thought I may be paying anothe $100-$200, but another $1000, on top of Angie's payment? Rediculous. Techs were polite enough, but again, a very deceiving add. I paid the service call fee of $59. Shouldn't have.
Description of Work: 2 exterior lights, in my patio overhang/soffit, added next to an existing light. Techs said it'd take less than 3 hours.
