Amazing customer service and customer orientation from start to finish! Kate, the scheduler, was friendly and arranged an "on-call" appointment to see if I could get someone out sooner than next week. About an hour later, she called with an available time slot for today! Joel came out and diagnosed the issue with my exterior light, thankfully it was simple. He was courteous and kind, especially since the issue was tied to a faulty CFL bulb and not the fixture (PHEW). Regardless, you all have gained a customer for life. Your team was prompt, courteous and very customer focused! Could not be more impressed with the turnaround during a busy holiday week!

I had researched expected costs on line and with the electrical estimators at my engineering company so I had an idea of expected cost when I committed to the $99 for $200 Angie's list coupon. Their quote for the work was double my expectation so I declined. Ultimately spent $99 for nothing. I won't do this kind of coupon in the future.

The process was fine--just turned out the pricing was much higher than several other electricians.

Extremely well!!! Jeremy came earlier than expected, which was great as we are retired and did not have to wait for a 2 hr. window. He was polite, professional and a delight to work with. Figured out the problem promptly ( which was a switch), replaced it and “we had light” again. Also checked one other issue we had re: circuit breaker ( no charge) and seemed AOK . We agreed that if the problem reoccured we would have him come again immediately. I would definitely recommend Randy’s Electric to family and friends. Thank you Jeremy 😊 PS. It went well. As explained above, I received four different options from very expensive to quite reasonable. I was not pressured to accept any of the options, but chose one that would bring all existing lights and outlets up to code ( a major project for a home built in 1905). Randy's Electric began the project, only six days after I accepted their estimate.

Joe and Matt took the time needed to understand what I wanted done, then got to work. They were well prepared to handle unexpected problems with existing electrical. They were pleasant and respectful. I am pleased with the finished product. I saved by using the Angie's list deal.

Great. Richard gave me options for both projects with costs. We chose to order the outdoor fixture so it matches my others so that work could not be done today but he showed me how to replace it myself once it comes in. He was on time and fixed what I needed fixed. I got a coupon off ANgie's list so it was very reasonably priced as well.

The electricians were professional, explained what they were doing, and answered my questions. Installation was quick with two people working on the project. Cost was a little higher than we hoped, but it had more to do with conditions with our older home.

The electricians from Randy's Electric were punctual, professional, and communicated electrical issues well. They did not pressure me into possible work that could be done, but rather outlined their concerns and gave prices for their services. They installed a thermostat, a light fixture, and replaced an outlet for a fair additional price.

I really liked that Zach took time to explain the issue, my options, the pros/cons of each option and the cost of each option. I felt like he was really trying to keep the cost affordable and not charge me for unnecessary work. He was quick and very professional to work with. Will go with this company again if needed in the future.

Every other electrician I called was booked out four weeks or more. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week. When the electrician arrived, he wasn't able to determine a cause with the initial inspection. He clearly explained our options, and we authorized him to do a troubleshooting session. He was able to figure out and fix the issue within about an hour and a half. He also spent time explaining upgrades to prevent this problem in the future and new code requirements. Electrician was knowledgeable and thorough.

They did NOT bring the equipment and did NOT fix the lights. The service workers were very polite and professional. I am giving a poor rating for the company's policies. We originally purchased $200 for $99. The repairmen told us that it would cost $322 for a "single circuit analysis". because the owner had set the price before they arrived. We expected that to include parts and repair, so we agreed. But they didn't fix the lights and still wanted us to pay an additional $122 + $200 coupon value. I contacted Randy's by phone and waited for a return call. She said that the coupon was intended to cover the trip charge. ($200 ??) I sent 2 emails explaining the situation. They never called or responded to my emails. There are exact complaint matches by other customers on the BBB. DONT BUY THE COUPON. You have the use the full amount on one visit, whether they fix it or not. So when they don't fix it, you paid $200 for a trip charge. . I called several local electricians for feedback on "single circuit analysis". They had no idea what that description included, but shared that the industry standard is $150 for an hour of work and laughed that customers get duped with coupons for repair work alot. We were out $322 and the work was not done.

great. got here did the job as we thought needed, discovered no ground ans put in a special socket.

They proposed 10K+ worth of work to be done, but were fairly honest about the price break down and the urgency of the various suggestions. Waiting for alternative estimates before going through with the more critical repairs.
