Randy's came a few days after I called and did a great job. they are a good value.

Randy’s Electric came promptly and closed off my socket. They then looked at a non emergency problem I was having with another light and gave me valuable advice on the situation. It reassured me that things were safe.

I met them at my mother's house where they updated all of her electrical from fuses to circuit breakers. She was very pleased when it was done.

Would could not be completed. Vendor proposed to do a complete audit of my electrical system, which I did not want.

Randy's Electric was great. They showed up on time, were very professional and isolated my problem to a bad GFI. They fixed the problem and everything has worked great since then. I will definitely hire them again when I need electrical work done.

Great until we realized our main fuse box was a complete mess. What started as a simple job turned into a big one. Needed to be done.

Really well! They worked promptly, cleaned up after they were done, and made a few suggestions to improve what I had planned. During their lunch break, they even went to the hardware store to purchase a back up battery for the remote for my new fixture since they thought I should have one. They might be a bit more expensive than others, but I feel it is worth it in their professionalism and extra attention. I will use them again.

Called Randy's at 8am 3.15 to see if they could come out to give me a quote on moving 3 kitchen outlets that I knew would be tough due to the fact they were behind a tile backsplash and would likely require new wire to be run to the panel. To my surprise, they said someone would be by in the morning not only to provide a quote, but to do the work if I was OK with the pricing. Jeremy and Mike showed up at 9 and got to work. Within 15 or so minutes, they shared the quote. Essentially, they could move the outlets but suggested I consider upgrading the panel (from 16 to 30 breakers), which was not a surprise. They gave me 3 pricing options and explained things thoroughly. Option 1, just replace the outlets; Option 2, outlets, panel + move the meter/raise the wires; Option 3, same as Option 2 but with some bells and whistles. Since we're getting ready to sell the house, we decided to upgrade the panel and make it a selling point. They went on to do the work over the next 2 days. Quick summary: These guys are pros. Very knowledgeable, tidy, prompt and patient with my questions...will absolutely use Randy's again. 2 of the outlets were behind a recently set tile backsplash. They removed only the tiles required to access the wires and reset the outlets in perfect alignment with one another. The remaining outlet was a little easier but still required some creativity. I don't know how to explain this well but, essentially, receptacles/appliances throughout my house are now spread evenly across ~20 breakers (with 10 open and available) vs. being unevenly distributed across 16 breakers (with nowhere to put any new items). Additionally, the wires providing service into the meter were 6' off the ground, which always made me a little nervous. They're now 10' up and the meter was moved to a better spot on the side of the house. They spent a couple hours at the end of the second day walking through the house tracing all receptacles to the panel, labeling as they went. Lastly, they addressed things unrelated to the job. For example, as they were tracing items to the panel, they noticed the handle and mentioned it to me. I didn't have the right size allen wrench but they said they could probably take care of that, and they did. Again, just one example. Very happy with Jeremy and Mike and strongly recommend Randy's to anyone that needs high quality work. Lastly, I've read a lot about the trip fee and the idea that Randy's pricing is higher than others. I don't disagree with these comments but I also recognize that you get what you pay for. I've worked with MANY providers in the past and Randy's is in a league of their own. They were at my house WITHIN AN HOUR and had the work completed in TWO DAYS. I have no doubt that if I had received an estimate, vs. a firm quote for the job, I would have paid more money at the end due to the number of issues they ran into.

here's how they work - $99. trip charge for them to come out (whether they do the work or not) then they'll give you an estimate for you 'to take or leave it' if you don't like their estimate, you paid $99 for a waste of your time AND you have to get another estimate to get the work done that's good for the company, but not good for the consumer a place that's been around as long as Randy's, should be able to give you an estimate over the phone

Competent and efficient service. Fair pricing that is clear and easy to understand. Assessment, pricing, contract agreement, and work was able to be completed in one appointment on one day. Randy's gave us 3 price quotes to choose from. We could choose to do part of the work now at a lower price. We opted to do all the work requested. After the work was completed we called Randy's twice to make adjustments on outlets. Randy's responded quickly, made the adjustments and at no charge. We plan to use Randy's for any future projects.

The house is 100 years old so there were surprises that required extra work and additional charges.

My experience with Randy’s Electric has been excellent. Dale and Greg showed up on time, were polite and professional, and helped to consult on the multiple needs we had. They explained things carefully and thoroughly...and helped me understand why the scope of our project needed to be larger in order to be in compliance with safety and electrical codes. We have a mid-1950s home and the electrical panel was overcrowded, obsolete and required replacement in order to be in compliance (arc-fault protection in the panel). Being a quality engineer and having basic electrical knowledge helped me understand that they were being straight and honest with me. I appreciate their bias toward safety and full compliance. As an added bonus, they were kind and patient with our three-year-old grandson who was eating lunch in the nearby dining room and continually gave them a “thumbs-up” and told them “You’re doing a great job, guys!” 👍😃 When I need more electrical work, I’ll be calling Randy’s again. Thanks! .

They did a fantastic job diagnosing the cause of the issue.

Would adopt them all and their families if finances and space allowed! A large project estimated by Mike K. Jerakiah and Greg were here two days and work could not have gone better. All 3 were patient with our dogs who volunteered to help repeatedly. Professional, polite, cheerful. Would definitely recommend this group of men and this company.

It went OK! They gave me estimates on what they can do but as of now I cant afford the whole thing. I wanted to do small estimates.

They fixed all the problems in the most low-cost way possible. Smart, courteous and fair. The only issue we had was that we made the initial contact via online chat, and the promised call-back never came until I re-contacted them the next day. But the electricians themselves were so exciellent, I can't allow that initial glitch to lower their grade.

After losing power to our house we called Randy’s due to so many positive reviews. Although they were pleasant on the phone and the electrician was very nice, the quote was staggering. So much so that although we were desperate to get heat and power in January, I had to call for second opinions. As it turned out our next quote for the same work was $800 and they could do it immediately rather than the following day! In addition to that, after getting into the job we found out that it was completely misdiagnosed and had we known before pulling wires out , we could’ve fixed our power for $100. I do not fault Randy’s electrician for misdiagnosing our problem, but for the ridiculously high quote. Lesson learned... call Signature or Stafford company’s for a second opinion before choosing Randy’s, even if your desperate.

Great. All lights and outlets are working!

The estimate was of 10,000. plus. They said I needed a new electrical panel as I didn't have enough room. I was hesitant to consider spending that much money even though they put me on the schedule for two days later to begin work. I called another person I know who owns a well-respected electrical company (I had not asked him for a bid yet as he had said they were swamped) and asked him what he thought. He said it was way too high and he sees this a lot on these kind of deals. He sent someone out and the bid was less than half of the other estimate! I just don't understand how this can happen and I've seen it 2 times now since I've moved and needed help. Both times, Angie's List recommended.
