Description of Work: the electrician was prompt and very knowledgeable. I had two lights installed, one was a 3 pendant hanging light. He also put a dimmer switch in my bathroom which I purchased from the electrician.

Description of Work: wound up replacing the whole electrical box because what I had was not rated for ceiling fans. Unexpected cost, but well done.

Description of Work: I Purchased the work from Randy's to add an outlet in the LR for moving our television. I asked for a cable jack installation in the same place. I was also having some faulty issue with my motion detector light on my garage. I was quite surprised by the cost of adding an outlet with curcuit breaker in the LR- They ran a homerun due to the walls. I ended up negating the Coaxial cable box due to the cost of the elctrical box. | |He then had some issues with my light on the garage. He had to end up charging me a "circuit diagnosis" due to the fact that the wiring was incorrect and done prior to my ownership of the home. | |I was a little disappointed that it cost so much. My previous experience with electricians is that they are much more resonable in cost. Granted those "reansonable cost contractors" are working for themselves and do not have the trucks and and budgets like some larger contractors.

Description of Work: I just needed an outlet to be replaced. Randy's had an Angie's List deal that I called to inquire about because I was wondering if the deal would cover my simple outlet replacement. The person that answers the phone does not have any electrical experience and I was informed that Randy's is unable to provide a ballpark or range (even with a disclaimer that typically it would cost around this amount depending on wiring, etc). That was a bit frustrating that you can't get any idea of what type of cost to expect, especially for something like a basic outlet replacement. I had to call around to other providers to get ball park estimates. With the deal I paid what other providers estimated but if I would have paid it without the deal it would have been double what others estimated. Other than the price, the service was good. The electrician that serviced my home was professional, punctual, informative, kind and helpful. I was happy with the service, but like I said, I thought the price seemed a bit high.

Description of Work: Replaced a ceiling light with a fan. Had to add a fan box so cost more than the Angie's List deal.

Description of Work: The intent was for them to reinstall multiple switches that needed to work together on same fixtures. They replaced switches (not sure why), the swtiches were about twice the cost of purchases at Hardware store. A smoke detector/CO detector was also replaced. Lot's of up selling that I don't think would have been tried if I would have been home. They also left brochure, biz card declaring they are a christian based company with some additional proselytizing etc. Coming to my home to work on an electrical job does not entitle you to distributing religious 'info'. I notice that the religious bias is not on their website. They were very expensive but what did them in for me was the unsolicited religion stuff.

Description of Work: Went well. Diagnosis was for a wire replacement and check, so coupon did not cover this service. They did great work, but paid for their work not qualifying with the offer.

Description of Work: They replaced 4 bedroom smoke detectors, 2 hallway smoke detectors with co2/smoke combo detectors.

Description of Work: They completed repairs on what was needed. They made additional repairs that I had requested as well. They are returning to make a few more additional repairs that we desired but ran out of time and we wanted to pick out the light fixture. I am not sure about their prices but I am willing to pay a little more for electrical work that is going to done with superb quality and I can feel safe in my home.

Description of Work: Their quote to replace the electrical service panel was $494 more than the next bidder, Harrison Electric. And, $795 higher than Signature Electric which did the job for $1100, using the same high quality panel and breakers.

Description of Work: the job was done to perfection. Be warned that they charge a trip charge on top of the deal rate. My deal was $84.00 for the installation of one ceiling fan, plus they charged a $59.00 trip charge. I must not have read the details well.
