Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal in March with the intention to have some electrical repair work done. The service provider sent an electrician on 4-10-15 to do some of the work. According to the estimate given to me, none of the work I wanted done would fall within the amount of the Big Deal. I didn't have any extra money in the budget to proceed with any services.

Description of Work: They were great and I can only ding them on one thing. When I made the appointment I told them exactly what I needed done and asked for a ballpark figure for cost of the project over/above the Deal price. In fact I asked at least twice before my appointment. I was told that what would happen was the person would come, take a look, and give a price onsite. I have a 1950's home that needed outlets switched to grounded. The house had updated wiring so it was a matter of swapping out the existing outlet, grounding it, and on to the next one. Or so I thought ... at my appt the tech told me that gov codes had changed and it would cost me roughly $150+ per outlet to install, and the outlets I had purchased were no good. So instead of getting a dozen outlets updated I had two done. I was not going to invest that much at that time for something I hadn't researched. And these were not the outlets you need for by sinks and in the bathroom but run-of-the-mill outlets. I dont blame the technician for following gov regs, it is his job. But why in the world couldn't they inform me of that when I made the appt, told them specifically what I needed and then asked (a couple times) for a job cost rough estimate up front? The good thing was that he was impressed with my home's electrical panel so I dont foresee any major electrical problems in the near future at least. But I felt surprised and somewhat dupped by the process and lack of willingness to inform me up front of the potential cost of my project even when I tried to find out.

Description of Work: We had several electrical projects including repairing one ceiling fan in Great Room, installing ceiling fan in Master Bedroom, replacing 3 flood motion sensor lights on outside of house, replacing disposal switch, adding a CAT 5E outlet in basement bedroom, etc., etc. Andy did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him!

Description of Work: Full panel replacement. The guys were right on time and very professional and clean. They walked me through everything when they were finished. I'd definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Installed a chandelier in our entry foyer. There was some confusion with the scheduler in the office, but the tech. did an excellent job. He called before arriving, was prompt and professional and he and an associate performed the installation (approximately 25 feet) quickly and properly. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced customer's (my) bathroom light fixture over the sink. Solved a connected dangerous outlet problem in bathroom -- disconnected poorly wired non safety outlet. I think bathroom is too small for use of electrical appliances on sink cabinet even with a safety outlet. Courteous telephone arrangements. Good arrival (eta) info. call. Description of Work: Reconfigured basement wiring to make outlets unswitched, remounted a poorly placed outlet and checked each outlet to make sure the wiring was done properly as whoever originally installed them didn't do a clean job. The onsite electrician was very informative, worked quickly and did high quality work.

Not only was he on time but very professional as he completed the complicated task! While there I had him repair a defective lighting circuit as well which he completed.
